Who else finds making reservations stressful??

Hey there! How are you liking this weather we're getting hit with? Ocean County seems to be getting it so much worse this year!! Where abouts are you? I'm in Jackson and it's been brutal! Although I love these 90 min delays! Where did you book your Xmas? And where hoping to switch? Been there the last two Dec. One year at BWV and this past year at VWL. It was amazing! I think this year we're going to try for Food & Wine and Halloween decorations. Maybe try for OKW since we haven't stayed there yet! Watch out - I hear another storm is coming!!

Hi, we have an uncle who lives in the development, Gardens of Pleasant Plains, he's 87 and very tired of dealing with the elements.

We're taking our DGC to WDW over Halloween this year. I'm waiting for 7 months and hope to stay at VWL.

I went to Toms River Fitness for almost 8 years! I loved it, but couldn't take the commute any more! I love WDW at Halloween! Went in '07 and it was gorgeous! My parents haven't seen it at that time of year, so it will be fun for them. They are addicts as well haha!!

I don't get stressed at all. If anything, I get excited because I know the call is the beginning of another trip! I could see being a little stressed if you have your heart set on a certain resort, but we usually line up 3 choices for alternate resorts so that we're not disappointed when one isn't available.

I've had pretty good success changing resorts at the 7 month mark for all but one trip (we had a 2 bdrm and wanted BW or BC during F&W so my hopes weren't too high though).

I just called to book our Oct trip and the entire call took 6 minutes from the time I dialed until I hung up with a confirmed ressie. Off to plan now....

You want to talk stressful?Try using your points over at Fort Wilderness.I have tried for the last 5 years to use my points at the campground and the only answer I get is "Not Available".I have tried all different times of year and there is never an opening for DVC sites.How is it that with almost all of the sites now either premium or preferred (a requirement for DVC use)there is never an opening.Now these is stressful

I was on the phone with member services, and the CM was reviewing my dates before 'hitting enter' and then she said, "oh, someone else must have been looking at the same inventory, because the first 2 days are no longer available". I was like, ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This was for 2 BR BLT over Columbus day week at the 7 month window. At this point my home resort was not available and my second and third choices were not available.
I am not the type to change resorts on vacation. Once I am settled in, that's it....
I picked SSR over AKV and had a great time. Nice relaxing atomosphere over there and the buses only stop at one resort. (5 stops within the resort, but only one resort!!)
