Who can I rent a small ECV from?

We just went in late June to Disney World and rented an ECV from Buena Vista Scooters. I thought when I ordered I requested a compact one, but when I picked it up they were all the same. It was huge and bulky and I am only 5 ft, 100 lbs and along with a disability, I could not take it apart *at all* much less stuff it in my little Chevy Cavalier. I found getting the ECV on and off the buses very stressful. Yes, I almost ALMOST hit somebody .. I stopped 2 inches short of the poor, patient, very kind man. (After that I asked the bus driver to drive it in for me )

Our annual passes expire in early October, so we decided to fit in one more trip. I realize I can't go without the ECV at all, but I really would like something small.

Which one of the outside companies can I get a small ECV from? Despite the illustrated, detailed instructions that came with the ECV it was still too heavy for me to deal with. The cast member that gave it to me (albeit, nicely) could not figure out how to take it apart either.

I want nothing more than to be able to drive to the parks - it will make a huge difference for us. Any suggestions? No, I can't buy my own right now (I usually don't walk that much). I only need it for a couple days too ... and I don't want to rent at the parks, I would like to have it at the resorts too and Downtown Disney.

If you are driving from Miami, why not see if there is a place near your home where you can rent one and bring it with you.

I'm 5'1" and my Golden Buzzaround Lite is perfect for shorties - see my post above. It fits in a Toyota Matrix with no problems and has fit in the trunk of a Honda Accord, broken down. I have arthritis in my hands, hips and spine and if I absolutely have to, can put it together. It is very similar, kind of like a little brother, to a Pride GoGo, so if you can't find the Golden, get the Pride GoGo, and that should break down and fit in your car (and you!) just fine!

Just remember that you will need to plug it in more frequently than the big ones. But there are plugs EVERYWHERE at Disney if you know where to look! All restrooms have them near, most restaurants, both TS and CS, Norway has a great place near the Maelstrom FP machines (to go around the loop), Morocco has none. Nemo has a great one right outside the ride, use it while riding, as does Haunted Mansion and Buzz.
