Who are your favorite characters to meet and where to find them?

I'm very happy that my kids are suddenly all about meeting characters! I have to admit I never understand it before. Last year DD cried at the sight of all fuzzy creatures. When I dragged DS to meet characters last year he smiled for photos but never cared or talked about it after. This trip DD is talking non-stop about A&E and Tinkerbell. We happened on the Pooh characters after the ride and she was so excited to meet them. DS ran over to meet Hook and keeps asking to go to see the Baby Max character even though we've never seen the movie. Who should we look for and where do we find them?

We have reservations for Ariel's and so far we've seen:
A&E
Tinkerbell
Peter Pan and hook
Mary Poppins
Pooh, Tigger and Eyeore
Minnie and Mickey (as sorcerer--is he always a sorcerer in his house?)
DS did Hedi training

I know DD would love to see more princesses and DS keeps telling everyone that Aurora is his favorite character which I didn't know. Is she available to meet? Is there a usual cast for Ariel's?

Planning on trying to find Doc McStuffins and the Avenger crew. What elf should we try to do? Thanks!

Anyway, my niece loves the villains so we will visit her frequently (over by the wishing well on and off throughout the day) and Cruella, who can usually be found on and off in town square.

With the rain, most town square or wandering characters will be in side the Opera House Lobby so if it's wet tomorrow be sure to check there...usually not busy and several characters out at once! Baymax and Hiro can be found in the bottom level of the starcade near the space mountain exit.

Aurora has been booted from PFF and if out can be found near the wishing well, although occasionally she can be at the main gate or even under the PFF umbrella. She should be at Ariel's as well.

Avengers (Captain America and Thor) and inside Innoventions, top level.

Doc McStuffins can be found in DCA in Hollywood land, switching out with Sofia and/or Jake. The DCA rainy day backup location is inside the Animation building.

Go to the Royal Theatre in Fantasyland. Across from that there's the entrance to the Princess Meet. There's a sign saying who's in. Didn't see Aurora there in October though... the above post explains why. Had no idea. ><

Mickey is filming different movies in his movie barn, one of them being Fantasia. Hence the Sorcerer outfit. There's also Steamboat Willie (which I've never been able to catch), Band Concert and a more classical outfit.

Ariel's used to have the more classic princesses, but it seems they've been switching around lately. I met Rapunzel and Tiana there in October - only heard about Tiana being there once before and nothing about Rapunzel.

Thor and Captain America are at Innovations, just get in line to see them.

The best place to randomly catch characters seems Town Square. Donald, Daisy, Cruella etc. Sometimes characters are near the Mickey floral at the entrance. I've seen Alice and/or Mad Hatter wandering around Fantasyland a lot.

In DCA there's Toy Store characters near TSMM. Different characters roaming Buena Vista Street in cute period outfit. Sulley from Monsters Inc. and the Incredibles can be caught near Hyperion Theater. Sofia, Jake the Neverland Pirate and Doc McStuffins are usually out near Off the Page.

When we were there in September this year inside PFF was Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel. Also keep an eye out one morning it said royal friends - not sure who that was as we didn't go in. Aurora wasn't near the wishing well we saw her, Merida and Belle under an umbrella just adjacent to the entrance to the Royale Theatre. Also if you go one of the shows at the Royal Theatre e.g. Beauty and the Beast and Tangled if you hang around after the show to the right of the stage they often come out to do a meet and greet. But not usually the last show of the day as they are off to get ready for the parade. Also we saw Flynn Rider sitting at the Rapunzel tower statue also near the Royal Theatre - he was just finishing up when we walked through. But we got to do a meet and greet with them in the Royal Theatre when they cancelled the show one day and did that instead. We met Tiana in New Orleans Square on the steps just near Café Orleans - we had an 11 am reservation and were there a little early we turned around and she had just arrived. We also ran into Alice on that walkway near the wishing well one day, she was with the Mad Hatter, Peter Pan and Captain Hook. Also Alice and Mad Hatter apparently do musical chairs in the afternoon can't remember the exact spot either Refreshment Corner in Main Street or Jolly Holiday Bakery - hopefully someone can chime in on that or ask at customer service. Love meeting characters with the kids their faces/interactions are awesome! I also love having a photo with them myself lol

The character (Belle after B&B and Rapunzel and Flynn after Tangled) usually come out to meet guests after the show (about five minutes or so). The CMs will not guarantee that they will come out, but I saw them both times I hung around in mid-November. It's worth noting that they will only meet with guests that watched the show, so do not leave the theater after the show. Also, there is no Photopass photographer at this meet & greet, but the characters will pose for photos and sign autographs.

Aurora does occasionally appear at PFF still. We saw her inside the building in mid-November, but she wasn't one of the princesses listed on the sign (I think it said Ariel and Snow White). She was the unlisted royal friend.

I would also suggest checking out the Jingle Jangle Jamboree out at the Big Thunder Ranch. The characters there are all just wandering around in their Christmas outfits and have great interactions. It's not crowded out there at all. We took DS6 out there for some down time this past Sunday afternoon. We saw Santa Mickey, Santa Goofy, Reindeer Pluto, and Chip and Dale in their Christmas sweaters. We bought a cookie decorating kit for DS and we sat at a picnic table to decorate it, some other kids joined us too and then one by one the characters just came over to see the kids' creations. Dale was hilarious and sat down at the table with us for ages pretending to sniff the cookies. So cute!

Tiana can be found at New Orleans square as well as Jack Skelleton and Sally right now near Haunted Mansion.

Alice & the Hatter do musical chairs at Coke Corner and it's wonderful! My DGD6 just did this a few weeks ago and it was priceless, because she was dressed as the Cheshire Cat. You can ask the piano player what time the musical chairs happens. It will coincide with one of the piano player's sets which are listed on the daily schedule you get at the park. They will add in as many chairs as there are kids, and Alice "plays" too, while the Hatter kind of runs things. The interaction is wonderful, especially if you are taking video - the Hatter did a few extreme close-ups while I was filming with my GoPro and it's hilarious. As each child gets eliminated from the game, they are brought up on the piano player's stage to do an "exit" performance. The day we were there, the kids had to pose like snowflakes, then "melt". Not one kid was sad when they got eliminated because Alice and the Hatter made it so fun for them.
