Other then using it in my wash and rinsing out the cat box. What else do you use vinegar for?

Mixed with water in a spraybottle I use it to clean my hardwood floors and my windows/mirrors.

Use as fabric softner in washing machine and rinse aid in dishwasher.

Cleans water deposits / descales irons, coffee makers & my Keurig machine. I run it through full strength and then make sure to run water through a couple times to remove the vinegar. For the iron, I fill it with full strength white vinegar and then use an old towel to let the iron steam and steam. You'll see nasty stuff come out of it, so keep moving it around the towel. Then rinse out with plenty of water.:thumbsup2

I make an all purpose cleaning solution with it in a spray bottle: equal parts vinegar to water, a squirt of dishwashing soap, and a few drops of essential oil like tea tree oil or lavendar or lemon and use it on my counters, sinks, tubs, etc.

I also use it sometimes as a fabric softener.

I've also just learned that a tablespoon of vinegar mixed with a tablespoon of distilled water makes a great computer screen cleaner :thumbsup2

I put 1/4 cup in my steam cleaner water...makes a big difference! !

I use it as my household cleaner. I mix equal parts water and vinegar and use it to wipe down the counters, bathtubs, sinks, etc.

We also have really bad hard water here, so every couple of months or so, I fill a bowl with vinegar, prop it up with a shoe box so it's under the sink faucet and let it eat away at the greenish hardwater junk that ruins my water flow. Then I unscrew the shower head and do the same thing.

I have used it to clean the fish tanks, the bathrooms, tile floors, windows and mirrors., coffee maker microwave. lots of uses for it , for baking soda too !

Everything! :rotfl: I use it in the washer. Mixed with dawn to get the hardwater out of my shower. Mixed with water for floor/cabinet cleaner. Mixed with baking soda to clean carpets. The list goes on...

I use it in the wash, dishwasher and descaling my Keurig. I don't like how it cleans windows or smells. I'll try it in my Shark next time I steam the floors.

Because of this site, I stopped using fabric softener in my washer, and now I use Vinegar. Also, because of this site, I use vinegar as a rinse aid in my dishwasher. Both were fantastic!!! :thumbsup2

Never thought about using vinegar to clean up the kitchen. Just mixed up a bottle to use tonight!

I use it for my laundry, I do use fabric softener as well but I like using vinegar too. I alternate. I use it in my dishwasher as a "jet dry" agent, I also will randomly run an empty load through the dishwasher with just hot water and a bowl full of vinegar, I do the same with my washing machine, just let the basin fill with water and add a cup of vinegar and do a rinse basically. My machine has a button for an extra rinse so I generally use that for this cleaning.
We use it on our windows and on our fish tanks, I have a mixture of vinegar and water that I use on my bamboo floors. I use it to clean the hard water from my shower doors (all glass) as well. I know there are other things I do with it but this is what I can think of right now.

I use it for all the above, I also use it to clean my garbage disposal. I pour baking soda down the drain wait a little then pour vinegar down it, then sometimes I add a cut up citrus fruit and then run the disposal.

I use it for tile floors and add it to the whites when doing laundry. Never thought about the Keurig. I'm going to try it tommorrow!

Its great for absorbing odors. If I cook fish, onions, burn popcorn or anything stinky, I put some vinegar in a small bowl and by morning the smells are gone.

I pour a big pot of water down my drains. Then I pour baking soda into all my sinks and then pour in some vinegar to bubble away the crud in the pipers. I do this about every other month.

Check out this site for other tips.

Yeah I saw that website earlier today never knew all the thing I can use vinegar on.

I know this sounds gross, but I use it to clean my toilets. Squirt it on any crusty stains that have gotton overlooked and also ring around the toilet. Let the vinegar soak for several minutes and wipe off and toilet looks sparkling new. Oh, and I really do clean my toilets more than once a year! Lol!

Apple cider vinegar diluted with water is a good replacement for shampoo and conditioner. It leaves your hair silky and shiny.

My Husband hates the smell of White Vinegar but it's what I use to clean. So we collect the peels from clementines (any citrus will work) and stuff them in a large mason jar. Then fill the jar with vinegar and let it soak all the nice scent out of the peels for a week or two. I can use it in my spray bottles with water now and get no comments from DH!
