White Sox in Disney?

Just wondering if anyone has heard if and when the White Sox will be in Disney World. We would love to catch a peek next week if we can! Thanks!

I thought I remember reading someplace that they had announced that last year when the Red Sox went down there it would be the last time that would ever happen. ( No not the Red Sox winning the championships ) But having any team do a victory parade. Thats why there was no "Im going to Disney World" commercials.
Who knows though.

From what I heard, Horizons is correct. The Red Sox were the last team that Disney had the "Going to Disney World!" ad. They have scrapped the whole thing.

could that be becasue they don't have the contract for the World Series (ABC that is)? The world series was on Fox this year.

Not so much...
It was something along the lines of destroying what Disney stood for and the overall experience that would be had by the guests that day.
Personally I find that to be a little far fetched so maybe contracts were the underlying meaning.

They used to shoot two commercials - one for west of the Rockies (with DL) and one for east (with WDW). I think they always had 2 different players saying it (lest they be acused of lying to half the country!)

OH SURE! The White Sox finally win it all the week before I am leaving for WDW and they are not going to be there. Oh well, maybe next year after they repeat.
