I just made ADRs there, is the 22.95 all you can eat or a fixed amount of each, and does that include desert, I know it doesn't include drink. Are the milkshakes really refillable!??!!?

Thank you :)

The 22.95 is for the canyon skillet, if you are on the dining plan, then desert is included and yes the millkshakes are bottomless.

So yes the skillet is all you can eat? (I will be sharing with my 2 yr old) Are the milkshakes included on the DP?

Ya, I just wasn't sure if the skillet is "refillable". Either way, we're not big eaters, it should be no problem. Thanks for the info :)

If you are on the Dining plan, watch out!!!! We were told that the milkshakes were out when we were there on the last trip. DH husband went to the bathroom and saw a table after us get shakes!!! Needless to say, the meal was not pleasant as DH pouted the whole time about not being able to get the shakes.

I have to say this past Dining plan trip (march of 2008) was not my best experience with the DDP!!! almost not sure if I will do it again.

I dont have DP, so im guessing i'll pay for our skillets, pay for a milkshake and a pop, and if we want desert we'll pay for that.

If you like something a lot on the skillet can you get more? Or, is it you get what you get kinda thing. Im happy with either, just curious.

The canyon skillet is all you can eat and the 22.95 is for each person. A two year old would not have to pay, though, and you can reorder anything in the skillet that you want more of. The skillet includes salad and cornbread ribs, chicken, shrimp, bbq beans, corn on the cob and mashed potatoes. It was pretty good too. My son likes the orange cream milkshake there.

I have a few questions about this restraunt....We want to eat here this year.

1. How far in advance do I need to make reservations and for what time? We are going Oct 4-11

2. Our children are going to be 1 and 3 at the time of the trip and both like to help themselves to what we have to eat even if we order them their own dinner.....if we get the bottomless skillet...what is the age limit for it?

3. Is the price for the skillet the same price for kids? What do others do here with kid meals?

Thanks for the help

Steve

Can you order a kid's size skillet? I think my kids would love the food on the skillet and I didn't see that on their menu, but I can't imagine that being a problem.

The kids menu does not include the skillet. There are the typical Disney kid options here. A 3 year old would have to order off of the menu, I would think.

It did in December as my 8 year old ordered it on the dining plan.

My son did when we were there over Christmas.

Hmmm...maybe it has changed, but when we were there in September, the skillet was available for kids (if you were on the DP you had to pay $2.00 OOP for the kids portion) and the shakes were included, DH and DS both had shakes, and got refilled a couple of times...as I recall, I may have had a few sips. :rolleyes1 The skillet is also "bottomless", they keep bringing as long as you keep eating and asking for more! This is one of our faves, and since we will be trying a different resort next time, we will make a trip to WL for dinner.

This may be a crazy question, but here goes anyway.
Our group doesn't like shrimp, at all. Not even the smell of it. Could we order the skillet and ask them to please hold the shrimp? I'd hate for it to go to waste, and I really think one of our group would choose not to eat anything if the shrimp were in it.:sad2:

Have any of you experienced this?
Thanks for your help.

I can't see any restaurant refusing a request like that. They don't want to throw out food either. I bet if you let them know they just won't put it in :)

The canyon skillet is available for kids, and you can tell your waiter/waitress to hold off anything you don't want. The shrimp is peel and eat style shrimp. HTH.

We'll be doing this for the first time too! Can't wait! It all looks so yummy, especially the shakes.
