Whispering Canyon for those of us staying off----site updated question post 5

is there security we have to go to? A gate? Is there ample parking at the resort? Do we need to pay for parking?

There will be 24 of us eating there, arriving at different times in different cars (obviously), most of which have never been there and ALL of which are staying off-site.

What do I need to tell them?

When you head into the MK area, tell them at the parking booth you are going to dinner reservations so you are not charged. At the resort, there is a gatehouse where you have to show picture ID (Drivers License,etc) There is usually plenty of parking.

You know, I don't remember the security, but there is at every resort as far as I know, I just don't remember it. (We stay on property so we get waived through security easily)
With any security they look you up on the ARD list and give you a 3 hour parking pass.
There is pleanty of parking.
No charge to park.

We LOVE WCC! Have Fun (with 24 people I am sure you will!)

So, we don't have to go through the gate to Magic Kingdom (where we have to pay for parking) do we??? Or is there a turn to get to the resort before we get that far???

when you approach the MK pay for parking area, stay as far to the right as you can. Tell them you are going to Wilderness Lodge. They will direct you to the right where there is a road that goes to the MK resorts and WL. You will not have to pay for MK parking

when you get to the WL, there will be a security stop. tell them you are dining at wcc, they may or may not look up your ressie so everyone should know who the ressie is under. There is ample parking and valet parking available too.
