1) The "antics" go on at all meals.
2) However,the intensity is different.
3) it all depends upon a complex set of circumstances
. . . size of the eating crowds
. . . they amount of attention each guest needs
. . . willingness of the servers
. . . eagerness of the diners to join in
NOTE: I know it sounds weird, but the busier the eatery, the less the antics. The servers get too busy waiting on guests to get deeply into antics.
