Whirlpool Bath but Not Semi-Private

Does anyone know of a moderately priced hotel/suite with private whirlpool baths, hopefully in the Lake Buena Vista area? After checking out the Cypress Pointe baths, we could not stay there. Hubby must have total bathroom privacy and so does my daughter and that whirlpool in the master bedroom near the bed isn't private at all, along with the bathroom toilet without a door and facing a mirror??? Yikes! Anyway, looking for about $130 or less, hoping for free breakfast too (I don't want much do I?? )

There is privacy when the bedroom door is shut. Or are you speaking of the studio in Cypress Pointe?

I was looking at the 2 bedroom unit...I read someone's review on it and saw pictures of the bathroom that they took. It is private with the bedroom door shut but what about when your spouse is in bed watching tv? Can't kick him out LOL! Thanks for the response tho!

Vistana's units have a whirlpool tub/jacuzzi in the master bathroom. The exceptions are the newer units. The Cascades, Lakes and Fountains II have the set up in the bedroom as you described, but the older sections have the tub in the bathroom. You can get some very good rates for Vistana here :

I think that it is odd that the tub is in the bedroom. I just don't get it.

Anyway, Marriotts Horizons is weird that way too. No door between the shower and the master bedroom. Is it supposed to be attractive to see your partner wash up? Uh...... not in this case.

We will probably wind up there in the next couple of weeks, still looking though. We have stayed there before and enjoyed all but the lack of privacy issue with the master bath.

The Hyatts have separate baths with whirlpool tub, in south Florida anyway. I would imagine that its the same throughout the state.

Westgate is like that too. The whirlpool tub and shower (w/ clear sides and door) are exposed to the bedroom. The toilet is in a small room w/ a door. Why would they do that? (the shower doors and walls do get fogged up so you can't see in them when someone is taking a shower, but still...yuk!)

OKW had a door (they had been know to move doors around though) - there was also a window from the bedroom to the tub - but you can also close that door.

kept in mind you can close the bedroom door at most of these places.

so your husband can wait in the livingroom/dinning area.

I actually prefer it this way. Like to sit in the jacuzzi, relax with a wine cooler and watch TV. But I can understand how some would want the tub in the bathroom.

Orbit One vacation villas has 2 bedroom, 2 bath units. The master bath has a whirlpool tub and a door between the bedroom and bathroom. Then there is a second bathroom so nobody has to disturb whoever is in the tub.

I was going to say the same thing, Maria...........I know we've talked about this before.

In the Lakes section at Vistana, the shower/toilet/one sink is in a private room with a door. The jacuzzi tub is in the master bedroom part. This is my favorite set up so I'm hoping for the same thing when we go next month.

I believe CPGVs have the same type deal, don't they? With a door for the toilet room?? It's CP phase I that doesn't have the door, right?
