I am having a bit of a problem, I am trying how/what/where I want to add on? If I give everyone 3 choices, could you vote for me!? Help me out?

Option A:
Add on 75 points at VGC @ $102 per point = $7650, I would just pay cash for the add on...

Option B:
I found a LOADED SSR resale... 100 points DEC UY, 86 banked, 100 coming on 12/1/10 and 100 coming on 12/1/11 for $7300 plus closing, I would just pay cash for the add on

Option C:
Add on the SSR resale, pay it in cash... then Sell my 30 point BWV resale (find very small contracts at one resort, tough to use... but bought to become a member a while back)... Then take that money and use it as my down payment on the 75 VGC contract and throw in a small amount of cash to finance maybe $5000.

I really want 50-75 VGC points as the Resort and Location are AMAZING! And I know that 100 SSR contracts will come up quite a bit in the future...

What would you guys do?

I said VGC, but I said it because if you were to do C, you'd likely need to find a different contract on C. By the time you get yours sold (30-60 days) that contract will be gone. So, I'd do A, sell small contract and then buy again based on contracts available at the time.

First and foremost - KEEP THE SAME USE YEAR!!

I love VGC, and I know you will be happy to have that as your home resort. IMHO.

I haven't voted yet. Do you live significantly closer to WDW or DL? Are travel costs of any concern? Do you have a special affection for either? Will selling your BWV contract be at a loss (per pt)?

I live in Iowa... so pretty much equal distance to each... Travel costs are not really a concern. I have some family in SoCal and would really like the 4-5 day trip there every couple of years... I own my BWV contract, but I would figure it would be at a loss over what I bought it for. But, I have had it a few years or so and have used the points.. HTH

I have a question on the SSR contract. Are those banked points 2009 points that have already been banked into 2010, so that you would have 186 for 2010? Or do they expire 12/1/2010?

they are banked

If you want to act now I vote for SSR. More vacation experience for less money. In a few years start looking for some VGC contracts.

Although I'm not a SSR lover, I love that contract!! I would go with that because of the extra points and you can pay cash!! I would buy that now, then look into selling your other contract and get the C soon after!

I voted for both. But, I would keep BWV for a long week-end during F&W every 3 years. One can never have too many points! :goodvibes

This may only add to the confusion but I think your price for VGC is an old one. I'm looking at adding on a few more points too - and can't decide what to do either - but VGC went up to $120/pt and I was told a $10 discount for 50-99 points for a total of $110/pt.

Have you thought about another small BWV resale plus the VGC? Or are you really wanting to get SSR for a home resort. I ask b/c if you did option C then by the time you paid commission on selling the BWV and fees for buying the SSR then it might override any price/pt difference between SSR/BWV.
