Hi there..

We went to WDW last December and loved it but I don't know if we should go back this year or wait till January.

I'm afraid of "Too much Christmas"...

We can either go the 2 first weeks of December or the 2 middle weeks of January...Which would you choose?

If we do go in December, our budget will not allow CP dinner package or MVMCP...

What else is there to do during that time?

Will there be better bargains in January on merchandise?

Will the weather be better in January because we froze last December...?

Thanks for all advice
 Just a little nuts...

I think December is a nice time to go(unless you don't like Christmas decorations). You can do the CP without a dinner package. MVMCP is nice, but not a necessity. There are other holiday features that occur during normal park hours that are fun(i.e. each of the Epcot countries telling stories about their Christmas traditions). Have a great trip!!:earsboy:

While I love WDW at Christmas, it is nice to see "the parks" as they are and not always decorated for Christmas. We now in late July due to vacation schedules.

At Christmas the parks really change with all the decorations and holiday buzz. Once the holidays are over WDW is still a very magical place.

So, because you have already been during the Christmas season, I would suggest going in January. The weather will pe perfect, the park crowds will be light and you will have a great time.

I, personally, love WDW during the holidays so my vote is for a December trip. As to the weather...January will be colder than the first 2 weeks of December. We went last year in January and it was in the 30-40's! Either way...have fun!

Hi! I've gone both times, remember the weather last December, and I don't think even you Canadians will be able to wear shorts if you go in January! Although the weather was cold at times last December, January (at least when I've gone) is colder. Maybe I'll see you there in January. However, given a choice, I'd definitely choose December-that's why I'm hoping to go in December 2005. But this year it was a choice-December alone (which didn't work out well with holiday plans) or January with DS. And since DS rarely vacations with us (21 YO on his own), I'm really looking forward to it!

I would do January . Like the above poster stated. It's nice to see WDW without the Christmas decorations if you have already seen them.

I much perfer WDW at Christmas time since it is all decorated up and it really is festive. The crowds will be about the same the first 2 weeks in Dec as they will be in January, and the weather WILL be about the same, it will not be perfect.......the weather here in FL during Dec, Jan, and some of Feb. can be iffy, one day it maybe warm and the next day it will be chilly, and when you say you froze last Dec. I know what you are talking about, I think it is because it is so damp here. I have gone to many a MVMCP in Dec. and have worn a ski jacket. So I don't think either of the two times you have chosen should be picked because of the weather, it should be whether you want to see the decorations or not.
