Love Jambo, not a fan of Kidani.

For an adult only trip, either BLT or BWV would be my choice. I prefer BW with a view. Since you are hitting parks for 3 days out of 6, I might lean BLT, easy access to other monorail hotels for food, and drink. If you had hoppers the whole time I would go BW for easy EPCOT access.

Such a rough life to have make these type of decisions....have fun

I know, right?! Thanks! I know we'll enjoy ANY choice we make, but I love to hear peoples' opinions! I appreciate all the responses!

I voted the 3/3 Kidani/BLT. And yes, I would definitely stay Kidani-Savanna. Since you will have downtime over the 6 days, view is important, and this choice offers great views! We have had BLT views in the North Tower and inside the "C", and I prefer the later. Kidani is great no matter where you end up, but definitely request Sunset Savanna, not Pembe. We have done several split stays, and while I am not a big fan, as a party of two adults, it won't be a big deal. BLT offers a great selection of monorail dining and the AKV-Kidani location offers serenity and peace.

It sounds like you don't mind split stays and as long as you realize you might not have your next room until after 4:00 PM, I would go with the split stay option of AKV-K and BLT. We recently stayed at AKV-Kidani and using a bus there was a piece of cake. The drive time to MK was 15 minutes most mornings and 10 minutes or less to the other parks.

My wife and I did a split stay in March, 2014. We stayed four nights at BLT and enjoyed the walk into MK and went to Animal Kingdom. We then took a town car and spent 3 days at Universal a the Port Royale, then came back to the Beach Club for 4 nights and walked to Epcot and took the boat to DHS. We were able to use the Magic Express both ways to the airport, and took a day off from the parks each time we moved. We plan to do a very similar trip in the fall of 2017, with the Food & Wine Festival. Very easy pace for a couple in their 60's.

I love the Epcot resort area, so voted for BWV. Also, the full kitchen and washer/dryer is nice. I'd like to be able to wake up and make myself some coffee, while DH sleeps in (always happens on vacation) with the bedroom door shut! I'd choose a one bedroom over a studio any day (if you're talking the same cost!).

I would always do a 1 bedroom over a studio if possible the king master is great and having the lounge to chill in is wonderful.

So I love split stays, BUT I would definitely go for option #2. No question. A 1 bedroom, regardless of view, wins. Plus, there is so much to do being at the boardwalk. Altough I am a huge Kidani fan, I'd rather be at BWV for a couples stay.

Nice! Did you have studios at BLT and BC?

Sorry it took me so long to get back. We have had studios at BLT, SSR, BC, and a regular hotel room at Wilderness Lodge. When we are in California, we get a studio. For us, the room is a place to put everything, catch up on our internet or tablets, take a nap, etc.
We have had a one bedroom once for two days at the Grand Californian.The one bedrooms are beautiful, and have great features, but my wife and I just don't spend that much time in the room. When we traveled with children, my top choice was always the Residence Inn for the extra bedrooms, free breakfast, kitchen, and happy hour. Now, with only two of us, I want to be out in the parks, and my wife does NOT want to cook, do dishes, or clean up afterwards.
It really depends on what you look for in a vacation stay. Everyone has different takes on what makes the magic happen for them! So, wherever you stay, take a deep breath, say goodbye to your worries back home, and have a wonderful trip. Then, start planning the next adventure...
