To get to some TSL attractions/meets... we have a 3 and 6 yo

1) rd TSL followed by 10am breakfast at Hollywood & Vine (Disney jr breakfast)
2) 8:15 H&V reservations, then doing TSL

Not sure yet of FP situation (not yet 60 days out) - I picked brains in another post about that!

There's a lot of variables (and I am in the exact same position. I have an 8:35am H&Vine one day and a 9:05am another and am waiting out to see how park hours will change and how they let people into SW:GE). How many days into your vacation is your HS day? And is this before or after Star Wars opens? That depends on if I would keep the 8:15 H& Vine. You can pretty much guarantee HS will open before 8am after Star Wars opens so the 8:15am will be of no use to you.

If you're BEFORE August 29th, it's the first 1-4 days I would rope drop Slinky, then to TSMM, then AlienSS then breakfast. Honestly you can do Alien all day at any time without much wait. If your HS day is 5+ days in you'll be able to get a Slinky FP with no problem. In that case I would do the Disney Jr. breakfast with the kids then head to TSMM. If you're traveling AFTER August 29th, it's too early to tell at this point what to do.

Also, you could do Early Morning Magic if it's in your budget.

Thanks! Trip is at the beginning of August, it’s the 5th day there, and as much as I wanted to do the emm, for the days we are there it is only offered the morning after we arrive (and we fly in late at night) and would involve a whole schedule change of everything.

Definitely option 1. H&V PPO reservation offers zero benefit for TSL and will instead put you behind the crowd for rope drop. If your 3 year old is able to ride SDD, definitely get the FP for that. Then at RD do TSM first followed by AS2.

RD TSL, no question.
Unless it changes, the crowd is let in about 8:30 and held at Sunset BLVD and then walked/let into TSL about 8:40.
It is unlikely you would be done with your breakfast early enough to beat the crowd. And if you were, you rushed through breakfast and paid a lot of money for what you did enjoy.
I would RD TSL and do yur breakfast at 10, take your time and enjoy it.

We like to RD a park then have a late breakfast around 10:30 or so. We also find that we save more money on food by doing this because we only need a snack midday before dinner. The exception to this is Garden Grill at Epcot. We always have this as PPO to get the Soarin' advantage then head to TT and MS.

Thanks for all the feedback! RD it is! A reservation to H&V just opened up for 10:15 so I changed to that, giving us an extra 15 min. I don’t love going so close to the close time (esp buffet) but I think those extra 15 min with slow-moving kids will be worth it!
