Which week is better Presidents week or spring break?

Hi,

We have just decided to go to Disney World in 2007!!!

Now we have to pick a week. Were looking at February (Presidents week) or April (Spring break). I know that both weeks are going to be crowded, but which one is better (or worse?).

Easter is April 8. I'd go after that (but maybe not the week immediatly following Easter).

The weather is much nicer in April. The third week of April will be spring break for many schools in New England, so it will be crowded with people with Boston accents. After the third week it will be much less crowded, so if you can wait until then, it would be the best time to go.

We went last year during "spring break" - if you can go after, please do so, you will have a much happier experience!

It was so busy it was ridiculous. Thankfully, we enjoyed the world showcase and our resort for cocktails, than the rides!!! Otherwise, we would have been very disappointed in our vacation!

I think spring break is busier than President's, but it depends on the exact weeks.

It sounds like Preidents week (which happens to be this week), is going to be the better one.

Does anyone know if there is a place where they rate each week on "business"? That would be nice information to have.

It sound like WDW is busy anytime the kids are out of school

We went to WDW just after Christmas in 2002, and it was extremely crowded.

I have often been suprised by the fact that presidents week is better than spring break for two reasons:

1. I was under the impression that most of the country had this week off for their Feb break, while Spring breaks vary depending on where you live.

2. I would think more people from cold climates would want to travel during the feb break to escape the winter for a bit, whereas april it is starting to get nice out.

Just a personal observation. I have not been during February ever, but have during April and March, April was crowded but I found March to be worse, anyone else out there share my thoughts???

Here in Northeast Ohio schools do not get a week off for Presidents week . I never even heard of it until I read the boards. We only have off on Presidents day. If it were me I would pick that week, I think it will be less crowded. Good luck.

Lust looked on the UG website, and Presidents week and most of April are given pretty much the same ratings (8-10 on a scale of 1 through 10, 1 being least crowded and 10 being most). Next year, based on when Easter is, you should do okay if you go as late in April as possible. The last week of April is going to be the least crowded.
