Which WDW attractions will you NOT do, and why?

Ooops I forgot two rides in addition to the Tea Cups and ToT. I won't go on Primevil Whirl again... been on it once, and have the video showing me taking the tylenol after. Just hurts too much to enjoy it. And Body Wars is far too jerky. I can handle Star Tours if I hold my neck. Space Mt. is iffy at times for me as well.

iasw...hate it..boring ..want to get out and push the boat 1/2 way thorough
HM gives me the creeps
tea cups and other spinning amusement park type rides including CGC..hubby gets sick so whats the point
Goofy line danceing or what ever it's called
Indy speedway

haven't gone for a while but wouldn't go if there was a two min. or longer wait...Indy. stunt show unless my feet hurt, swiss fam., snow white, pocahantous( spelled wrong)unless my feet hurt, Japan dept store( I can go to walmart at home), anything in toon town, CP unless my feet hurt, the moving tram thing in tomorrow land unless my feet hurt

I know I am in the extreme minority when I say this, but I have never been a huge fan of parades and fireworks. While I certainly have no problem watching for a few minutes, I have never been the type to stake out a place and view the whole spectacle from beginning to end. Disney has been a little bit of an exception because I do enjoy Illuminations, but parades are almost never on my "to do" list, at least not in their entirety. That being said, I have caught some floats from certain parades, and they've been really great...just not my thing to stay and watch the whole thing. But yes, I still love Disney and will be going for during the Christmas season this year!

:duck:

I don't think anyone has mentiones my #1 skip it attraction - El Rio del Tiempo! We rode it on our last trip and it was sooo dull! The only good thing about it is that it got us out of the rain!

The other attraction I always skip is Universe of Energy. Right now my children are too young and impressionable for us to be comfortable with exposing them to all the evolutionary teachings in it.

We also skip the movies in the world showcase.

Although I sometimes go to satisfy my wife, I prefer not to go to the Tiki Room. The "old" show was a little better, but I've just never been a fan.

I don't like parades or fireworks either. the only reason I'm even doing fireworks this year is because my boyfriend likes them.

Must Do's (with a three year old)

Aladdin's Magic Carpets
Carousel
Peter Pans flight
Small World
Disney toon town - Photo Ops
Snow Whites Castle
Country Bear Jamboree
Character Appearances
Trainride
Parade!

Ariel's Grotto = although everytime I see it I swear we won't go back. Usually packed and no shade. Long wait for a photo.

would only do sml world again if my feet were killing me...that dumb song stays in my head all day. I hate Tiki room probably because I hate birds but promised kids I will take them this year.

they have never seen attraction & have been 7 times.

and I agree that treehouse is not worth the walk...take a picture instead

bored silly by Country Bears, and that was ducking out of the rain

IASW: the song is bad enough

Barnstormer: too tame

TTA: also dull but great way to check line at SM

Sorry to disappoint, but I have no taste when it comes to Disney rides. I'll ride just about anything once a year, and enjoy it. And yes, I like Small World! Perhaps because I like geography and get a kick out of naming all the countries and regions depicted.

Here's a few that I somehow haven't gotten around to yet:
Mad Hatter, Astro Orbiter, Tower of Terror, Journey Into Your Imagination, Kali River Rapids, Primeval Whirl.

I have good intentions about doing them all eventually, but it may take my 7yo pleading to get me on Tower of Terror. Since I don't like heights, I keep "forgetting" about Astro Orbiter (also I have no idea how to get on it).

The only thing I really don't like is long lines!

Now that AE is happily defunct, the only attractions we will miss are Bug's Life and The Making of Me...both a little "too much" for my little ones at this time...

I refuse to do Mission Space again, only because the first time we did it the previous riders got sick in our space capsule. This made me think twice but I rode anyways with my eyes closed. I've also never tried Body Wars.

Since we're doing a grown-ups only trip this time (25th anniversary!), we're in the unique position of being able to skip the thrill rides our oldest and youngest insisted on (coasters and other rides that mess with body positions) and the kiddie rides the middle and youngest insisted on (Teacups, Dumbo, Carousel, etc.). So we're going to do all our favorites: HM, Peter Pan, Splash, PotC, Imagination, etc. And we'll leave Mission:Space for braver souls than we are!

I will not do:

Mad Tea Party -- the last time I rode this, at Disneyland, I got so dizzy that I fell off of the saucer when trying to climb out and almost broke my ankle.

Dumbo -- just not interested in standing in line with 3-year-olds for an hour.

Everything else is fair game! ::yes::

I love love love It's A Small World and Tiki Room! I won't ever skip them. Besides, our upcoming trip will be my husband's very first Disney experience, and he has to see all the classic stuff in addition to the new stuff.

Good thread. Okay here goes:

Space Mountain--makes me sick to my stomach

Tomorrowland Indy Speedway---I worked there while working in Disney, so I've had enough of that ride.

Test Track---I just don't care!! :duck:

Honey I Shrunk the Audience---rats and snakes...ENOUGH SAID!

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad---I hate bumpy coasters, make me sick!

The Country Bears----BOOORING!!

Tower of Terror---Something about being dropped 13 stories 3 times...uh...NO THANK YOU!! :headache:

Dinosaur---Once was enough for me. Good ride, just no more interest in doing it.

Body Wars---Excuse me, but puke city here. Needless to say when I got off of it, I was in the restroom for a few minutes "recovering"! :earseek:

I think that's about it. Other rides I just don't do because I have no interest in them. I did Dumbo once with the girls when I worked in Disney and it was fun, but I'm done with that one. The Jungle Cruise, did it once...over and done with. It's just not "fun" anymore.

What ? and ruin the surprise!? (lol) remember this is disney and they would not want a stampede heading toward the exit !( although even fake spiders in ITBB could do it to me) :o

I have one I haven't read yet.........hope I don't get torched. The Living Seas at Epcot. I am not an animal person and for sure not aquarium fish. I am going to avoid it on our next trip. I just can't remember anything in there that is calling me back.

By the way I lost 32 pounds on Sacred Heart Healthy Diet since July. I'm going to Disney with saggy shorts!;)
