I have never been to either water park, and thinking of going to one in July for half a day, just wondering which one is better, also do they both have photopass photographers. :goodvibes

Yes both waterparks have photopass people....my nephews and I liked Typhoon Lagoon better than Blizzard Beach we went to both during Springbreak this pass Easter I know Blizzard Beach is newer and bigger but the water seemed colder than Typhoon Lagoon. The boys had more fun at TL.We're going back to both in July as well on different days

We haven't been to one of the water parks in several years but I liked Blizzard Beach better. I liked the slides a lot more there. But Typhoon Lagoon has that new water coaster that sounds kind of cool...

I prefer BB, I like the slides better there but DD12 and DS11 like TL for the wave pool and swimming with the sharks which I think is over rated and VERY cold.

Does anyone have pictures of info. on the new water coaster at TL, sounds kind of cool.:)

My kids like TL the best!!! Both are fun though.

Here is one of my pics of Blizzard Beach

I haven't uploaded anything from our '07 trip but we used the Photopass then and the pics came out GREAT! The photopass there is also on a wrist cord and it's so easy to keep up with. You can use that same photopass everywhere!

I saw Goofy at BB and Lilo n Stitch at TL so you can meet characters there too! Have fun!!!

I prefer Typhoon Lagoon.. so my comments are through those glasses. :3dglasses

Both water parks have great lazy rivers that circle the entire park.

Blizzard Beach has faster and more slides but it has a normal wave pool. And its White White White... so much White that it reflects back and can be rather blinding.

Typhoon Lagoon has the "Large Wave" wave pool. This means that a 6ft waves come crashing across a the pool about once every minute or so. These waves are a lot of fun. The kids love it.
This park also has more of a tropical feel with thicker vegitation so it has more shade.
Also there is a the Shark tank that you can snorkle across.

You should read about the attractions at each before deciding. :cheer2:
You will have a good time no matter which one you chose. They are both fun.

It really is a personal preference thing.

We have been to both and we were all in agreement that we liked Typhoon Lagoon better. Despite the fact that Blizzard Beach has better waterslides, we feel like TL has much better theming and the wave pool at TL is almost worth the trip alone.

I will say we were not impressed with the shark lagoon at TL. As has been mentioned, it was very cold and overall, not that impressive. We only tried it once. Everything else was great though.

I preferred Typhoon lagoon, mainly because I'm not into traditional waterslides but really enjoyed crush n gusher. I also preferred the lazy river there, it's not very relaxing at BB when you have to avoid drops of icy cold water!

My mom and I prefer Typhoon Lagoon. We are big fans of Crush'n'Gusher, the wave pool, the lazy river, and the tropical theme.

We like Blizzard Beach, but the only thing we like about it better than Typhoon Lagoon is the family raft ride.
