Which Water Park?

If you had to choose which water park would it be blizzard beach or typhoon lagoon? and why would you choose that one

Our vote is BB. My family really enjoys the winter theme. The tallest/fastest/steepest water slide is a huge hit! The chair lift is cute and fun for all ages. However BB does not have the snorkeling adventure or the wave pool. You will have fun either way!

Our family is split withi this. I love BB. The theming and the raft rides they have. The rest of the family, DH, DS-18, DS-23, love Typhoon. They have liked this park since they were little and we went (ages 6 & 12). The slides, wave pool, and theming. They both have a great place for little ones to play.

we are doing TL! My kids love the wave pool and I prefer the theming! NO MORE WINTER!

My family likes TL better, we have younger children though and it just seems a better fit for us

Three years ago we did both and really preferred BB. Last year we talked a lot about it and decided to just do TL, and it was great! So who knows?! They're both awesome.... all the slides and especially Summit Plummit at BB, but the Wave Pool at TL is great!

I like Typhoon Lagoon better, but they are both great. You can't go wrong with either one.

I've been to both. I prefer TL. It seems much cooler. BB seems to be a lot of concret. My young dd also prefers TL.

My vote would be for TL. We love the wave pool and the lazy river.

BB has faster and more slides.

TL has the wave pool and the Crush and Gusher but the rest of the slides are slow and old.

Wow, tough choice. They both have a lot to offer. TL has the better wave pool, and shark reef is great! BB has the better slides and theme, but the wave pool is not as good as TL. We usually alternate the water parks on visits so we get both in. Personally I like BB just a bit better because of the theme, and summit plummet, which is a must do. Honestly you can't go wrong with either choice.

I absolutely LOVE Typhoon Lagoon. It's not your average waterpark for sure. I've never been to BB, and still debating if we'll end up going even with our 7 day waterpark upgrade. Something about the winter scenes with the snow really turns me off. I guess I'm feeling the drain of the long Michigan winter...

We have been to both waterparks and I have 2 teenage DD's and we all love BB. TL is fun but BB is very well themed and has more slides that go faster!!!!! We Love Water Parks and BB is the Best we have ever been to!!!

I think it depends on the age of your family. BB is definately better for thrill seekers with all the great slides and rides. But for a lazy and fun day I like TL. I agree with other that is has less of a "concrete" feeling.

I think TL is an easier park to get around in...not as much walking up stairs, and the faux mountains/hills. The theming is unique at both, but seems more intimate at TL.

We've been to both and plan on visiting both this year too.
I have to say the wave pool at TL is not to be missed though. You will never see one like it.

We always do both with our annual passes---we usually go first to whichever bus gets to our resort first. If I had to choose, it would be TL. Prefer the tropical theme & the laid back feel of the park. They are both great parks!

Which waterpark would be better for kids? (12, 7, & 20 mths.) My 12 DS doen't like "big, fast slides", so don't take that into consideration.
Thanks for any advice!

(I watched a show the other day on the top 10 waterparks in US & TL was on it. ???? I think #4/5 ??? not sure)

I like TL much better than BB. I think the attractions there are more unique. For example scuba diving at shark reef, crush n gusher is not to be missed, and the wave pool is so much fun. It is like the beach minus the salt water

My favorite is Typhoon Lagoon because it reminds me of living on Guam. My husband is a thrill seeker and loves Blizzard Beach.
