Which Water Park?

So far, we have always gone to TL, but my kids are dying to try BB. I've always wondered if BB gets more crowded than TL. Anyone know the crowd stats?

I really want to go to Typhoon Lagoon. It seems to be closed each December. I am hoping it is blizzard beach this year so I can go to TL!

I like the slides at BB they are fast and really fun. The theme is great. The wave pool isnt as good as good as tl. But the slides at tl arnt as good as the ones in bb. I love bb and so does my faimly.

We had a better time at TL....seemed to be cleaner and better maintained. My ds loves TL. We both like to snorkel with the sharks every trip. I dont think 50 is too old for either park :thumbsup2

They are both awesome, but the wave pool alone at TL is worth the price of admission.

Also, my daughter went snorkeling with the live sharks and sting rays last year and it truly was the highlight of her trip. She is constantly talking about it. I went with her and I could not believe how realistic it is. Once you put your head in the water, you really think you are in the ocean.

We like BB better because we go for the attractions. We like the more thrilling slides and there aren't nearly as many at TL. We generally do both waterparks on our trips though. The snorkling tank is great at TL and the landscaping. If stairs are an issue, TL is probably better. I love BB because I feel like I'm getting a workout climbing all those stairs...then I don't feel so bad eating all those fresh donuts! :goodvibes

Depending on how many are in your party, the upgrade to waterparks & more is worth it and then you can do both parks. We would rather do waterparks & more than hop because we are going in September. Last year, we did waterparks in the morning to afternoon, lunched at the lodge and chilled until evening when we went to the parks. My boys love, love, love the water so it is a must that we do both parks. I like the setup of BB and they have one of the fastest, highest body slides. I was clocked at 60 mph!! We love the view from the top of the ski lift and that you don't have to climb to get to the top. The turn around time is quick. They, too, have a wave pool but it is smaller but the wave is HUGE!!!!!. Some of my fondest memories are relaxing in the tube at BB. On the other hand, we LOVE TF also! It seems a bit more crowded but the kid's section is very, very nice with the waterguns and such (I think that was TF) correct me if I am wrong. They seem to have quite a few water slides but mostly its all about the WAVEPOOL! Huge and spacious. Perhaps the biggest thing that pushed me over to the BB side was the Ski Patrol Training Camp for the 12 - teens. It's not so babyish like the little kids area but a bit tamer. This is especially for the poster who said that her DS doesn't like the tall slides. It's a cool place for preteen and teens (and adults) to stay cool and have some fun too. We love both but I think I like BB the best.
