Which Water Park?

Will be at WDW in a week and have one day to visit a water park. Which one should I go to? Will be there with my Minnie. Any suggestions?

Blizzard Beach, I think, is a bit bigger, with more elaborate slides (and some that offer genuine hair-raising thrills.)

On the other hand, Typhoon Lagoon offers a surfing pool, with humongous waves and the Crusher Gusher -- a roller-coaster-style water slide that actually goes up hill and down. But many of its slides are shorter and tamer than those at BB.

Wherever you go, go EARLY. If you are staying on property, take advantage of the extra hour they offer youin the morning. These parks fill up quickly and by noon, it's a loooong wait for some slides. Or worse: BB often fills up and they stop letting people in.

Yeah, we are staying on site and planning on being there when it opens to hotel guests. Also, planning on leaving around noon and then coming back for the last couple of hours of the day. Heard about TL having some type of "swimming with the fishes" attraction. Is that worthwhile?

If you like big slides blizzard beach. tallest one in the world. you go down 55 mph. typhoon lagoon has large lazy river and awsome wave pool. You will have fun at either one.

LOL, the swimming with fishes attraction would be Shark Reef at TL... and IMO it's absolutely amazing, not to be missed. It's one of the main reasons we prefer TL to BB - I can't get enough of it. It's basically snorkelling in a deep shark reef with all sorts of sea creatures, but if you're lucky they come right up to you and it's just fantastic.

We muchprefer TL having been to BB every trip and missing out TL because we heard it was no good! We only had time to go once during our last trip and it upset us. This time we're going to both water parks but will probably spend more time at TL!!

We will visit each WP but I prefer TL because I like the lazy river better, the tropical theming, and the wave pool is way bigger and better than the one at BB. The Shark Reef is also great.
