Which water park will be shut down for refurbishment?

Hi everyone - my family will be at Disney from Nov 11-21st - just wondering if anyone knows which water park will be open during that time?

since typhoon just got a new ride and recently reopened I can't see that one getting a refurb. nov is still rather warm, very spring like weather if not hotter so I can't see any weather closures.

That is correct. One of the two water parks goes down in late fall. The other will go down in mid winter.

Yes they do. For the last 3 or 4 years, typhoon lagoon has been open in November. Blizzard beach was closed from about the middle or end of October until beginning of January. The TL was closed for a couple months and BB was open. I remember planning a trip in 2013 I think, and anticipating blizzard beach to be open in November as it had been the year before that. Then they changed the order of refurb. So we can't really know until Disney announces.

We have been anxiously wondering this, as well, as our travel dates are Oct 29 a nov 9 and we are really hoping that TL will be open in that period. BB has always been our favourite for slides, but TL's wave pool can't be beat. being Canadians, we also love its tropical theming. After all, we go Florida to escape the snow! The opening of "Miss Adventure" looks like it will tip the scales for once and for all for us.
