HooKooDooKu & Horace Horsecollar . . . Your posts are opposite each other! If I look at cabin 6034 . . The bump is on the right. That would mean the headboard would be on the left, but the popout into the hallway is on the left.
We're saying the same thing, but apparently what I was saying is being missinterpreted.
I stated that the cabin door is on the side where the HALLWAY W-I-D-E-N-S. So if you look at cabin 6028 from the hallway, you will see that the hallway is wider on the left (aft) side of the cabin and this is the same side as the "bumps" on the connecting walls between cabins 6028 and 6030. So if you are trying to decide if you will be facing Aft or Forward while you sit up in bed reading a book, you will face aft in cabin 6028.
The long, "bumpy" walls between the staterooms don't have headboards. The straight walls do.
This is a great simplification, however there are some cabins without bumpy walls (such as some of the aft verandahs and some of the Port Hole rooms) where you have to fall back on decoding which side the cabin door is located.
