Which two parks would you visit?

We will be traveling to Florida the first week of August and will only have time for two Disney parks since we will only be there for two nights and will end up with 2 1/2 days total (2 full days and 1 evening). We've been to WDW several times and have decided to check out other things in Florida during this trip.

DH will be coming with us (for once!) and I want to take him to both Boma and Cape May for dinner. He will not go to the parks with us so it will be just me and DS (11).

Which parks would you visit? We don't ride the Tower of Terror or Space Mountain. I'm also ruling out any waterparks but I would like a few hours at Downtown Disney while we're there. I'm thinking that we should spend one day at MK and the other at ?.

All thoughts would be appreciated. :bounce:

Do you ride the Rockin Roller Coaster? I'm going to assume the answer is no. I'd do EPCOT or EPCOT and MK. But...if you know you are going back I'd buy hoppers and hit a combination of things I've never seen and things I love...so I'd wind up in MGM, MK and EPCOT.

But we've seen everything except the new stuff so it's hard to decide. I ride Rock'n Roller Coaster but I'm not sure if my 11 year old will. He's unsure about Mission Space too. Plus the parks will likely be crowded and HOT!

Aaarrrgggh! I love some things in all of the parks so it's hard to make up my mind. At least I have a month to think about it before I make PS.

If California Soarin' is going to be open at the time you're there, I'd go for Epcot. Having done the same attraction (Soarin' Over California) at DCA, I have to say, it's awesome and not to be missed.

Pixie Glitter--also in Plano :wave2: (It really IS a small world!)

I also vote for Epcot. We just got back on Sunday and only had enough time to do two parks. We picked MK for dd (10) and Epcot for me. There was food and the different countries with the rides, plus TT. I didn't get to ride Mission Space, but dh and dd said it was alright.

Hi Pixie Glitter. You're the second Plano resident I've run into during the last few days! :)

Thanks to everyone so far. I'm leaning toward Epcot myself but wanted to be sure that I wasn't crazy. Well actually I am but that's beside the point! Now it looks like I can start the all important meal planning!

Epcot is always my first pick. We're all adults, and plan to do three of the parks in one day, just hitting highlights. Thats all we have time for this trip =(

(btw- we're skipping AK. Wasn't impressed with it...)

Epcot and MK are my favorites, I can do without the others. We usually spend 3 days each at these parks 2 at MGM 1 at AK and 1 at DTD. I didn't think that I would like Epcot, but I LOVE IT!!!!

EEK! I have no clue. That, to me is like deciding between key lime pie, cheesecake, and creme brulee. If at gunpoint, i would pick Epcot....but i would also like Studios....and then again, MK too.....man o man.... go to universal studios. ;)

foobs:earsboy:

Definately EPCOT! I just wouldn't feel like I was at Disney unless I did MK and EPCOT...it looks like you are leaning towards EPCOT also....let us know what you decide!

EPCOT and MK. These two would probably work out best for you.

DS11 says his 2 favorite parks are EpCot and AK
When we go back this Oct Im hoping to get a day for ea plus the night of MNSSHP
We're skipping MGM for Universal & IOA this yr - (nothing new at MGM since our last visit)

I would choose the two kingdoms, MK and AK. I may not be in the majority, but AK is my favorite park. We always leave there feeling like we didn't rush around the whole day, just relax enjoyed the scenery.

To me it isn't a visit to WDW without going to Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

We've skipped (or spent very little time) in Animal Kingdom and MGM on our trips, but the above two are musts for us.

I am visitng this weekend, also just a short trip with only time for two parks and it is MK and Epcot. Other two parks are fine, but those two are musts for us....have fun..:)
