Before I forget...I met
@Pluto468 as we were passing in the shuttle..I think I was going one way, she was going another...i heard someone saying my name but I couldnt imagine who it might be...turns out another DISBoarder! I wasnt expecting to see her as I thought she was stating on prop...pleasant surprise!
OK, let's finish this up...Pride Night was a one and done for me...I felt it was more crowded than Star Wars as far as people on rides. At SW, people are off doing SW things, be it food, characters, lightsaber battles, whatever...NO ONE was hardly on rides. PN was much more of a party atmosphere, lots of loud music EVERYWHERE.
Not my jam. That said, it seemed folks were enjoying themselves, meeting up with friends, generally having a good time. I did some rides, enjoyed shopping in empty stores.
TUESDAY AM
Well, at 8:15, there were lines clear back to where the patrol dog is for security...not the way I wanted to start the day. Perhaps all my magic ran out...crowd was totally different than the previous 3 days...more of the matching T-shirts, family reunion trips, "Grandmas 80th birthday" was one group. The line at the gate was to the middle of the esplanade...keep in mind, the 3 previous days had basically been walkups at the same time of day.
I had wanted to get beignets as It was my last breakfast there but I knew I wouldnt make my tour time if I did. So I got a mocha and headed to check in for tour.
I already left a scathing review of your on that thread so I will just suffice it to say it was a waste of time.
It was very hot that day. Crowds and heat don't work for me so I left not long after tour was over to go finish packing.
After resting, I headed back to DL. Had a few passes to use so I rode Buzz ( which had an ENORMOUS line) and Pirates and then headed toTown Square to start the line for PTN seating. Met a marvelous young lady from SD and we chatted right up to the parade. I LOVE THIS PARADE...was so blown away the first time I saw it...so happy it came back. Bought some cotton candy with my treat voucher.
After, I did one more bit of shopping to buy an embroidered Pooh and Friends sweatshirt...I had seen it at Pooh Corner but didn't want to walk all the way back there to get it. Luckily, there it was in one of the shops on Main Street!
Caught the shuttle back to CCI and flew home the next morning.
Even though Tuesday was a bit ofa drag, the weekend was wonderful and I will probably stickto this Sat.-Tuesday schedule for my OBB trip.
Thanks for sharing my journey!
OH..I ALMOST FORGOT...i bought a classic pair of ears with TINKABOO on them!
If you ever see me,come say hi!
