Which trip would you take??

So I a trip planned for September 27- October 4. September 27-29 in an ocean view inn at Vero Beach then switching to Saratoga Springs for the remainder of the trip with a bridal portarait session with Randy (a photographer in Orlando whos work I abosolutely love, to make up for the sligthly bad photographer that did our pictures for our wedding), or....

Switch to the week of October 4-11. October 4-6 inn, ocean view at Vero, October 6-9 1 bdroom SSR, October 9-11 in another resort, maybe POP or something since at the moment there are no DVC rooms, maybe get on the waitlist for a DVC room, BUT get to see the shuttle take off, if it takes off from the 8-11 and since MIL works for NASA possibly get a hook up onthe viewing area.


I want to do both so bad, but that is out of the question. I really want my bridal portaraits done since I have been lazy about getting actual portaraits done, and that was something I wanted to do, but not before the wedding since I didn't want him to see me all done up in my dress before the wedding, and I have always wanted to see a shuttle launch, and who knows when another one will launch that I can make it too. The only problem with the launch trip is that its not guaranteed that the shuttle will launch, and I would have to switch resorts.

So guys...
What would you do??

I think I would stick with the first because it is a done deal. Switching to a value resort because nothing else is available would be a let down I think. I have been traveling to VB eight years now and maybe 3 of those times a shuttle was scheduled for sometime in my vacation window. I have yet to witness a launch though... too many things move a launch schedule. I would absolutely love to see it, but I no longer try to work our visit to coincide with launches.

Yeah it is...

I knew it when booking it originally, are you maybe asking about that since it heightens the chance for the shuttle to be cancelled??
