Which Towncar Service?

Anyone heard of Lordentransportation? We are using them Sunday and will let you know. I feel confident that everything will be great though! Dennis is the owner and I"ve heard good things about him as a driver and we've had wonderful communication!

Dont mean to make this more confusing for you but we have used ******** and been pleased with them.

Not sure what is going on here but the company I am mentioning is being replaced with astericks. What gives? Can a moderator please explain?

Which company considered being picked up at 2 different resorts 2 one ways and which considered it a round trip? I'm being dropped off in Down Town Disney and need to be picked up at RPR so i'm interested.

thanks!

We've used Tiffany several times now and all was great. I'm using them again in 3 weeks. Now, since I'll be traveling alone with my 10 y/o dd, that's when something will go wrong!!! Here's hoping it all is fine. Up to this point, TTC has been prompt, clean and pleasant.

Some of the companies specified whether they were round-trip, but most just quoted prices... I'm at work right now and the info is at home, so I'll send post this evening. I have contacted FL Tours and Payless since previous post - I heard back from Payless really quickly, but have yet to hear from FL. It's been 5 days now...

ok, i'm back...
Tiffany ($107) did not specifically mention it being round-trip. Other quotes were: Cartier ($75), Your Ride ($80), and Payless ($75) all called it a round-trip fare. Happy Limo ($110 + $22 grat) was quoted as a three-leg (Portofino to POR to airport) fare, so that is why it's higher... Payless also quoted a three-leg fare for $100.
I asked about three-legs, but not sure when we'll finish up at IoA, so hate to make definite plans for that transport. I guess we'll catch a taxi. I know you won't need the 'third leg', but wanted to post that info also.
thanks!

Actually i do need the third leg, four actually but for one we'll definitely take a cab. We're going from Royal Plaza Hotel in Downtown Disney to Boardwalk Villas to Royal Pacific. :)

they considered each trip a one-way. since we'll more than likely want a grocery stop, we'll be using one of the other companies that quoted the trip as round-trip. all the companies i contacted did offer a grocery stop...
thanks

Which one are you going with? I emailed them all and am considering you ride. They gave a great rate, especially with the online coupons and they have been very responsive with all of my questions. How about you?

as i mentioned in my first post, i'm so indecisive!
you're right about your ride, but it's been mentioned that they have tried to advertise on this board, which i'm not sure i like...

i like the idea that crisi had about reserving two one-ways so you pay only for the rides they show up for...

BUT, they do not have a grocery stop for one-ways, so i have to decide how badly we want a grocery stop

i still have too many choices and decisions to make! i think i'll be making some phone calls next week to help me make my decision -
sorry i'm not much help!

Our family first time carless (we have ALWAYS rented a car before) in October and Your Ride was just fine. $85 R/T, I believe; we tipped reasonably well on top of that. On-time, grocery stop, booster seat, etc. etc. clean, courteous. We would use again.

My guess is that the other's are pretty good too.

Rental cars and the FL taxes that they have to pass on are getting a bit expensive . . . I think it leaves a lot more room for the limo companies to offer good service and provide a good deal for us and them!

FL TOURS- I emailed them for a quote and got a quick response-it's been about a month ago though. I just called to change flight times and they were very nice. Price for 1 Adult and 2 kids-$90 roundtrip and I printed a $5 off coupon somewhere online. They will stop at store so that's about 15.00 each way per person. We are going to the Hard Rock Hotel.

Have used Tiffany twice with no problems. I actually like the Kash n Karry they stop at because the prices are reasonable and it isn't usually busy. The last time we went, the driver gave us his club card to use, which saved us a dollar or two. Also, we didn't feel rushed with the stop. We are using Tiffany again for our December trip. Good luck with your decision.

 yes, I'm still tossing and turning at night just driving myself crazy over this transportation thing. that tells me i must have a pretty simple life if that's what keeps me up at night.:teeth:

we've decided to go without grocery stop, so I'll probably go with Tiffany from airport to PBH; take a taxi from PBH to POR; then Tiffany from POR back to airport. Tiffany has gotten so many good reports...

what have you decided?

The trick with any towncar company is to call the day before or the day of. It will make your vacation go much smoother. We just got back and used Cartier. I really liked them, but if I hadn't called it would not have gone so well. I've used Tiffany and Your Ride. I didn't care for either one. Cartier has the right price and the woman who answered the phone both times I called was a doll. She even remembered that I paid in a Thank You envelope. The driver should give you as a receipt. Make sure you get one. Have a Great Time! I know about stressing about transportation!!! Just remember to call them!!!

We have always used Tiffany Towncars and it was always great.
They usually stop at a small grocery that wasn't very busy. We will use them the next time we fly in.

for some reason I cannot get the rates to come up for tiffiany I am trying to figure the price for airport/port canaveral/airport for 6-8 people.

CurlyQ,

Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Cartier still screwed up our pickup, despite me calling the day before.

Do Tiffany and Happy Limo have schedules from Sanford as well? We're flying into there this June?

thanks.
