Hi I was wondering what is the best place to eat at a table service resteraunt at the Magic Kingdom. Preferably not a character meal. Thanks!! :goodvibes

You didn't indicate if you wanted lunch or dinner but my vote is for Liberty Tree Tavern.

I definitely second Liberty Tree Tavern!! Our family loves the food (it's served family style) and it's very convenient if you have a full day at MK.

I'm just going to echo what everyone else has been saying...Liberty Tree Tavern. I hear so many good things about this place!

We really enjoy Tony's Town Square.
We eat there every trip.
We usually order either Fish or Steak and our food has been
very good. This will be our 4th time eating at TTS this upcoming trip.
I also love the Lady and the Tramp theme of the restaurant-
it's also very pretty.

I had a great experience at Tony's Town Square. The food was good and our waiter was spectacular.

My family did not care for the food at Liberty Tree Tavern, but we have only eaten lunch there. Dinner may be better.

Liberty Tree Tavern is a safe bet. The meal is served family style, with a menu consisting of Thanksgiving staples. It's nothing special, but there is plenty of tasty food in an inviting setting.

I know you are looking for a place to have dinner, presumably with hearty fare, but I still suggest considering The Plaza. It offers mostly sandwiches and salads, but I think it consistently serves the best food in the Magic Kingdom.

For all of you LTT fans, how is the lunches there? I am contemplating getting an ADR there for our last day before we leave for home. We have only eaten there once about 5 years ago for dinner (back when it was a character dinner) and loved the Thanksgiving style meal. I know for lunch it is a different menu, and was just wondering what all of you thought about it.

We had lunch there on our last trip and it was good. It wasn't as great as we had remembered from our past trips but it was still a good tasting, filling meal with great service.

We love lunch at LTT, have never tried dinner there- but would probably not because of the preset menu.
If your willing to hop on the resort monorail or take the resort boat you can have a good meal at Kona Cafe for dinner or even over to Wilderness Lodge- there are a couple of good choices there too. Both are a nice break from the park. We have had good food and service at both. Take a look at the menus and see which might interest you.

I use to work in MK and know them all well...I would definitely go for LTT! The plaza is okay, much better choice for lunch though. If you want lighter/less costing dinner, then yes the plaza is a good choice. But, if you want a good dinner that will fill you, the its LTT. As for Tony's, you will get a lot of people that love it there, however I don't think its that great. It is italian, but I don't think it is as good as the other italian restaurants on property (Epcot, DHS). We just ate at LTT in the fall and it was still as good as I remember.

The lunch at LTT is good, just not cheap. Like I said above, if you just want good sandwiches/salads for lunch, the Plaza is a better choice. Tony's also has good soups/pizza/hot subs/salads for lunch.

None.
Hop on the monorail and head to one of the resort hotels for a good dinner.
