I'm going back and forth with which travel agent to use. I've gotten a AAA quote and Magic For Less quote, now working on another. But would like some feedback on who you're using!
I use the Magic For Less Travel. Have a great TA and I know many others have had great experiences withtheir TA through there. I have also heard good things about Dreams Unlimited but since I have a great TA I haven't used them personally.
We have used MouseEarVacations.com, a division of Cruising Co. for our last five trips and our agent has been a blessing. She is absolutely the best in our books.
We don't use them because DH has his TA license, but if that weren't the case, we would definitely go with an agency that specializes in Disney vacations only and not AAA.
Terry at Small World. I wanted to ask a few questions and spend a few minutes going over my vacation after I booked it (I understand it is a time waster if you aren't going to book). I asked the other big places that you see a lot if they would talk to me on the phone and I was told no, they keep their rates down by communicating by email. Terry talked with and I am happy. It was worth a little more to ask the questions I had, I ended up upgrading to Deluxe dining and a waterview room so I am not a hard sell, I just wanted a few minutes to chat with someone.
I love Kelly at Magical travel. She has booked several trips for our family and always got me the discounts!!!
I didn't used to use a TA because I thought it would cost ME more, but the TA doesn't get anything from the guest. Disney pays the TA. Having Kelly's help has saved me a lot by finding discounts and also availability when there was none. She's got my back.
I also use Kelly at Magical Travel. She is awesome!! She does not make me feel bad when I change my mind 1 million times on where and when I want to stay!
I use Francine at OLP... Our Laughing Place. She has been fantastic with us, and has helped us at every step of the way! I believe she gives more than 100% of herself. She has always returned my emails quickly and answered my questions.. admitted when she didn't know something, and got back quickly with the right answer! And believe me I've been a pain in the neck. .. value vs moderate... PORQ vs POR.... meals at different times.. HDDR, water view vs standard. DD has aspergers and I need everything just right.. she has been wonderful!
Maureen at mousefantravel. What sold me is that she is on the disboards, so she was answering questions for me before I even knew she was a ta. we are booking my second disney trip right now, and believe me when I say I am the kind of person that makes alot of changes during the planning process. last trip, we spent a whole year planning for together. this one about 5 months. something that i think is great is that she was married at disney. she has inside info that some others might not have. i like to go with a ta that is booking their own trip too...she leaves again in december

i'm curious...are your pricing apples to apples with each, and if so is there a difference in $$ between the two for the same thing? I'd be particularly thrilled if you'd share the details and the $$ quoted from each for camparison.
I've been working with Ric from the Magic for Less. Although things are quiet now because DH decided to push our trip back from December to January or February, I've been extremely pleased with Ric so far. I also was a bit uneasy about communicating via email only. We do email frequently, but I have spoken to him on the phone a couple of times too. He's great and seems to know his stuff.
