At dinner tonight my family and I were talking about what rides scare us the most, no matter how many times we go on them. Come my turn, I told them that my least favorite rides/attractions were a tie between Dinosaur and Its Tough To Be A Bug. My sister told me to pick a least favorite roller coaster and I said Expedition Everest because of the Yeti.

My least favorite rides are the ones with scary animatronics and pop outs. I can stomach ANY roller coaster you throw at me, but on rides like Dinosaur I keep my eyes closed the whole time. :rotfl2:
Is anyone else the same way?

There are a few rides I don't like, but none of them "scares" me.

Tower of Terror. Rode it once in all my Disney trips and I'll never do it again! I'm not a fan of free falls or drops! I do have to say though, it's a super cool ride, but terrifying for the drop!

ToT for sure! It was especially scary the last time we rode, because my family and I were the only ones on the ride- and it was at night!

I'll probably be the only one nominating this ride but.... Space Mountain.

Terrifying! There is something about those sound effects that made it seem like I was about to be decapitated!

The scariest rides are on I-4 and 192 getting to the park. Florida drivers suck.

Astro orbit. I am deathly afraid of heights. Although I can do roller coaster no problem. My kids make fun of me.

Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror and certain parts of Pirates scare me. Those I will go back on over and over. But the one I won't set foot in again is It's Tough to be a Bug. Once was enough!

Another vote for Tower of Terror. I've ridden it plenty of times and always enjoy it -- but I definitely get fairly anxious before it every time!

I'm most terrified of ToT. I swear my butt never even touched my seat once the drops started! My husband's would have to be Dinosaur hands down! He's afraid of Dinosaurs!

What parts of the Haunted Mansion and Pirates actually scare you?

I am terrified of the pooh ride. I know, don't look at me like that. Every time I get on it, it breaks down! I've gone on that four times and every time it breaks down. The last time the cast member left us in there for 20 minutes, and passed us to go deeper into the ride to get them out first... and top of the lungs yelled at us when we took pictures of each other while waiting. She wouldn't let us out of the car until we had 'erased' the pictures.

I will never go on that ride again.

ToT and Stitch. Both malfunctioned in some way the last time I was on them. ToT the seatbelt of the guy next to me wouldn't latch, and the let him off then closed the door without asking anyone else if they wanted off. I was terrified. Stitch has squished me more than once when those harnesses come down. Ouch.

IF my 5 year old really wants to go on ToT this trip I will go with her and suck it up, but only if my husband won't take her ;)

The original Alien portion on Great Movie Ride was pretty scary for lots of people. The Alien used to come down a bit more into the audience. The gun scene had my child crying this past vacation because she was in a front row.

When the lights shut down in Stitch (and previous version), it gets a bit spooky.

Ever since I was a child, the two dips down the dark falls in Pirates of Caribbean alway make me close my eyes (and I enjoy roller coasters, including Space Mountain).

I recall laughing the first time I went to Tough to be a Bug after folks were stung by the bees. I was at the tail end of an adults-only vacation and found the crying amusing. Funny, many years later, I put my only child on my lap to avoid her tears. Things do change when you become the parent.

My best friend is afraid of Small World for fear he will never get the song out of his head.

My wife avoids the bat portion of the Jungle Trek.

And maybe it doesn't scare you, but to me, utensils at the buffets may be the scariest thing at Disney.
