Which rides and shows do you refuse to do and why?

I am referring to Disney and also other parks like Universal, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens, Cypress Gardens, Seaworld, Wet n Wild etc.

I enjoy and will do everything at all parks, except these 2:

Wet n Wild's "Bomb Bay": I don't like the idea of the floor dropping out from under me in that capsule. I always think I'll get somehow stuck! :worried: But I do love the other high slide "Der Stuka" and all of Disney's water slides.

Wet n Wild's "The Storm": You swirl around a bowl and then plop down into quite deep water that is over my head, which I don't like because I can't swim. This is the only water ride I know of in Orlando that ends up in such deep water. All the others are more shallow and totally fine for me.

What do you refuse to do and what are your reasons? :sad2:

I must say, at WDW I do not refuse to ride anything. In fact it's the opposite. At every other theme park, I refuse to ride ANYTHING with a big drop or roller coaster type feel. Hate them. However, I decided quite awhile ago that I wanted to be able to have ridden EVERY ride at WDW. I'm still working on the wimpy rides now, the ones DH refuses to ride with me. But I've done all the big ones - ToT, all 3 Mountains (waiting for Everest), RnRc....I must say, the one I refuse to ride AGAIN is Mission Space. I am glad I did it...I can say I did. But never again!!!

There are a couple of rides and shows I will not do at WDW. I can't stand Jungle Cruise. The jokes are too old and corny and the animatronics need to be put out to pasture. As far as shows, even though it was my Grandmother's (RIP) favorite show, I can't stand the Country Bear Jamboree. I hate country/bluegrass types of music so I just can't handle this.

Those are the biggies for me.

Not that I could not stand it, TOT I thought the theme was real neat but the constant dropping just got me. I get severe motion sickness on Star Wars, so I will never ride Mission Space either. I know I am a wimp :goodvibes

:confused3 Strangely enough its the teacups for me....just can't take the spinning, yet I love Mission Space?

I will do all that I can to avoid riding the tea cups. When we went for grad night my bf at the time thought it would be really funny to spin us as hard as he could. It traumatized me. I don't like spinning where things get blurry (I am fine on the gravitron and mission space) and we were spinning so fast that I am amazed that I didn't throw up. I almost wish I had though... I would have thrown up on him! ;)
Atleast that night I was given a stuffed eeyore from a guy I used to date that went to another school that I ran into. Right in front of the bf. Who says there's no karma. :)

I have ridden Star Tours and I won't ride it again, it makes me so sick. Also The Fire and Ice ride at IOA, I rode it once and it made me sick--not sure why, since I don't get sick on any other roller coasters.....

I haven't dared to do mission space because I'm afraid I'll get motion sick. But one day I may try it at the end of the day - that way I could lie down if I don't feel well.

Another vote for Tea Cups. I went on my first trip because my friend really wanted to. I wanted to die when I came off. Cannot handle those. I also don't think I will be doing mIssion Space or Body Wars again. Both make me kind of queasy.

Rockin Roller Coaster (not a fan of coasters that take you upsidedown), Kali River Rapids (don't want to get that wet), and I doubt that I would ever want to go back to Sounds Dangerous.

I LOVED the Bomb Bay when I was little! I'm 21 now, and i was about 12 when I first rode it.... I loved it! I even got a spray painted tshirt that says "I survived the Bomb Bay!" lol. You just brought back so many memories for me.. I used to go every single summer with my family. I did Wet n Wild in Cancun and tried "The Storm" and it killed my back... I probably wouldn't do it again. I loved the Bubbleup at Wet n Wild too! Too bad its only for kiddies  Wow.... memories.... :goodvibes I could rant for hours....

But back to the OP... I refuse to ride Stich. This ride was horrible. I would not do it again. Other than that, it depends more on the wait time than anything else. For instance, I would ride the tea cups with a 5 minute wait, but I would refuse to wait more than 15 minutes. I would ride the carousel with a 10 minute wait, but no way I'm waiting an hour.

I hate going to see the World Showcase Players shows. I think the shows are hilarious, but I always make sure I start to watch after they've picked all the participants...I just don't wanna be picked.

Tomorrowland Speedway...what's the point?
Dumbo...we're all much older now and this is one we can avoid.
Indiana Jones Stunt Show...Needs to change and won't see it again until I hear it does.

The only rides I REFUSE to do are the motion simulators. I won't do Mission Space or Star Tours.
I know motion simulators have advanced and I did do and LOVED Soarin', but I'll never get on Mission Space.

I rode a motion simulator in Las Vegas once and I was totally ruined the whole rest of the day. I was naseous, dizzy and just plain sick. It was awful!

I don't refuse if someone else really wants to go, but I don't like the dark, boring, outdated, badly in need of a re-hab boat ride in Norway at Epcot.

MK - Tea Cups because of all the spinning around and around and around...
Epcot - Nothing I won't do here!
AK - Rafiki's Planet Watch because I feel trapped and it's BORING!!!
MGM - Back Lot Tour, um, need I say more?

MISSION SPACE... I loved the ride and it was alot of fun...BUT... I was sick as a dog when I got off...LOL and was sick the rest of the day so now when I take friends.. that is the first ride I take them too.

Soarin! I tried twice and twice I had the beginnings of a panic attack, and had to shout for the CM to unlock my safety belt before the thing took off! That was the worse feeling :( . I hope I can find a some good techniques that will help me so that I can ride it one day. Other spinning rides like tea cups and Mission Space I won't do either, but I love TOT!

Rock n Roller Coaster--I don't like to go upside down.

There is nothing that my DH and DCs won't ride, makes me very nervous sometimes. :confused3

Swiss Family Treehouse. Been there, done that and don't need to do it again. You go ahead, I'll wait at the exit thank you.

I love rides, I just wish I didn't have a motion sickness issue..

Mine are:

~Tea Cups
~Star Tours
~Mission Space

I've tried all of those except Mission Space, and boy did I pay for it. Had a headache and sick tummy for hours.
