Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of restaurants along I-4 specifically outside City Walk or between Sea World and Universal?

I generally just do a satellite view in googlemaps. Most places are identified.

Do you mean International Drive or I-4?

Technically, if you want to go there via I-4 between Universal and Seaworld, it isn't going to do you any good, because you can't get there from there, assuming that you are starting from Universal. (The issue is lack of westbound exits directly to Sea World.)

If you mean on Turkey Lake Road, the answer is not a whole lot, it's not a very commercial road. To get to them, you need to exit Universal's property on the back side, by heading north along Universal Blvd when you exit the garage, toward Portofino Bay, then turn left on Vineland and left again on Turkey Lake. Then proceed south on Turkey Lake for awhile (the neighborhood just near the park on this side is a trifle iffy), until you come to Sand Lake Road; there are several restaurants in the Phillips Crossing shopping center on the SE corner there. (Note that Turkey Lake Rd. can also be accessed from Universal property to the South via Hollywood Way, but I don't think that you can get to that road easily if you are parked in the garages. I could be wrong about that part, but if memory serves you are not allowed to exit the garage in that direction. The ramps seem to dump you out with the assumption that you will want to go directly onto I-4. However, if you are leaving from either RPR or HR, then Hollywood Way would be the best route.)

Anyway, after you eat, go south again on Turkey Lake, then turn left on Central Fl Pkwy to cross under I-4, then right on Westwood to approach Seaworld.

Alternatively, you can cross over to the east side of I-4 on Universal and and head south on I-Drive to get there, in which case there are a million places to eat, but you'll be in some seriously heavy traffic there.

This doesn't belong on the Resorts board so I'm going to move it to the main board to see what responses you get.

Couldn't you go down Universal Rd and cut over to International Drive once you get past the ridiculously crowded area? We used to do that in reverse quite often.

Hmmm...there's only about a million...

Okay, slight exaggeration, but seriously, there are a ton of restaurants in the attractions corridor. Can you help us out by providing a little more data regarding the type of restaurants you are looking for? Quick Service or Table Service? Casual or Upscale? Carnivore or Vegan? Thai or Turkish? Also, driving, cabbing, walking or using public transportation?

Yes, sure you could, but unfortunately the large majority of the restaurants are IN the ridiculously crowded area. If you use the Universal Blvd. bypass you come out down by the OC Convention Center, and that area is just the OCCC on one side of the road and big convention hotels on the other. There are a few more restaurants on I-Drive down near where Westwood comes in, but not many -- the only one that comes to mind offhand is a Flippers Pizza location. There was also a Steak and Ale there, and I think that it is an Italian restaurant now; something local.

Further south there are a few places at the intersection of I-Drive and the Central Fl Pkwy, but that's a few miles past the turn for SW; that area is of I-Drive south of the Beachline is mostly condo complexes and retention ponds for a stretch.

The best restaurants are going to be along Sand Lake Rd. (which runs perpendicular to Turkey Lake Rd., I-Drive and I-4. This area is known as "Restaurant Row" by locals, and has everything you can imagine; from inexpensive chains to very upscale dining. If you have any particular preferences I can help point you in the right direction :)

You are absolutely right about Sand Lake.

When I initially answered this question I got it into my head that the OP was asking what restaurants were en route between Universal and Sea World, but upon reflection I see that the intent might have been to ask what was in the general area. If that is the question, then Sand Lake Rd mostly west of I-4 is indeed the place with the best variety of quality food.
