The seven month window is approaching for our February trip. We are booked at SSR (our home resort) in a studio for seven nights. We have never stayed at any other DVC resort other than SSR and we were looking to try something different this year We are planning to spend alot of time at EPCOT this trip and were hoping to try to get into BC or BWV. If you had to choose between them, which one would you choose and why? Thanks.

I have never stayed at either, but would love to someday. We love Beaches and Cream at BCV, so we have seen the pool at BCV and it looks great. If you plan to spend time at the pool, I would choose BCV. Hopefully people who have stayed at both can help you out :)

I would choose BWV. I am a BWV snob nothing more...:thumbsup2

Hi!
We've stayed at both BC and BWV and we really like them both. BC is nearer to Epcot and the pool is fun (but very crowded). BWV is a 10 minute walk to the Studios and still an easy walk to Epcot. I like being close to two parks. We stayed at BC for spring break and are staying at BWV in two weeks. Either is a great choice and you'll have a great time.

We love Epcot too, we stayed at Boardwalk last year during Thanksgiving, we LOVED it. We are staying there again in Feb. My sister just booked a room last week for Feb. and they still had Boardwalk View studios left.....which to me is amazing , i booked at 11 months to be sure to get my Boardwalk view room.
good luck whatever you decide. My niece stayed at BCV and she loved it there also, i may try that one next time.
Have fun!

BCV has SAB (which you may or may not like, check out some photos and maybe a map - and consider your kids ages). Its a little closer to Epcot. Its very convienent to B&C and Cape May and the BCV kids club (all which you can walk to from Boardwalk easily - unless its a downpour).

BWV's theme pool is Luna Park (with the scary clown slide). Boardwalk entertainment is easy to access (but, like BCV features as a Boardwalk guest, you can walk over). You CAN hop to Luna Park, you cannot hop to SAB. If you have availability of either a standard view or a Boardwalk view room (which may not be available, but you can ask), you might want to consider that for the view or to save on points.

Myself, I'd make a priority list that might look like this:

BWV Standard View room (love to save points)
BCV (kids will love SAB this trip)
BWV Boardwalk View room (I'm not the huge fan of the view that others are, but it is nice)
BWV Preferred View room.

Your rankings might be very different.

Never stayed at Boardwalk, but we love Beach Club!! I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one. Have fun!

We have stayed at both resorts and would gladly stay at them again. However, if we had to chose it would be BW. Even though the clown slide can be scary at first, I love that I can see the children in the pool wherever they are. SAB is cool but sand in the bathing suits was not so much fun
