Hi!

We just returned from our 10 day trip at the world - but now I am planning our December trip :cool1:

Because we are New Annual Pass holders and there is a great rate for us we are looking to stay at one of the Deluxe Resorts.

Anyone have any information on the Polynesian Resort? I have 4 boys including my hubby :rotfl: - would they enjoy this resort?

Thanks!

Hi, having just returned from our 2nd trip to the Polynesian resort I can assure you that you will love this special resort. The rooms are some of the biggest in Disney, there are 2 queen beds plus a day bed so you will all fit in one room easily.
The volcano pool with zero entry is great for children and parents alike, the slide is fun and the pool has a waterfall. There are great restaurants, the beach is wonderful to sit on in the day time with views of MK the contemporary, monorail and Grand Floridian, then in the evening you can watch the fireworks. Being a monorail resort makes entering and leaving MK very easy. We previously stayed at the Polynesian near Christmas and although it is not as christmassy as the WL , POR or AKL it is still lovely. I am sure you will have a great time and really enjoy yourselves at this fabulous resort . :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The Polynesian has been my favorite deluxe resort. We have only stayed at 2 of them but I think the Polynesian far outweighs the contempoary. The Contemporary provided a wondeful MK view and you could watch wishes every night from your balcony, but that being said I did not like the rooms at the Contempoarary. They are supposedly re-soing them but I'd still pick the POly every day. BTW try O'hana at the Poly, really a fabulous restaurant.

We are really partial to WL during the Christmas season. And your right, RonnieRB, Ohanas is wonderful. If I ever stayed at one of the monorail resorts. POLY would be my definite 1st choice. I think anywhere at WDW around this time of year is magical. Have fun deciding but dont take too long, those Dec. AP ressies book fast.

I'm staying at the Beach Club this December. It's my favorite. I love the Christmas decorations and being so close when they have the Candle Light Processional. The lighted bridge/arch between Epcot and Worldshowcase is beautiful at night when the lights move with the music. Also, Stormalong Bay is great if your kids like the water. Have a great time no matter where you stay.
