If you could choose any resort, which resort would you pick for 2 adults & a 13 month old? Also, which room type and why?

I can't make up my mind where to stay in October. DH & I have never been to WDW with any children before. We have no idea if there is a better room type or resort to stay at.

I'm looking for any suggestions!

Thank you!

If I could choose any resort with a baby that young, it would definitely be a 1 bedroom at one of the DVC resorts, so you have an extra room to put the baby down for naps/bedtime and you can still spend time with your spouse. So, I would rent points and do a 1 BR at either BLT, BWV, or BCV depending on if you wanted to be closer to MK or the Epcot/DHS area.

No Budget Restraints.... Maybe in Bay Towers. Some extra room to chill after the little one is in bed, a place to keep milk etc cold for the baby and a way to heat food for him, AND monorail or walk to the MK. IF you co-sleep and baby goes down when you do, I would choose a room at the GF. Now if money is an issue.....we like CSR. A very nice moderate that is a mid-price range.

What is your budget?

We don't really have a budget per se. We can't afford a huge suite but we don't have to stay value either. We typically stay at the deluxe resorts or the deluxe villas but we are open to whatever will work best.

We were thinking about a 1 bedroom. The extra room & in-room laundry would definately be nice.

We looked at Bay Lake Towers but they were booked during the time we wanted to go. I'll keep checking though. Being on the monorail line & being able to walk to MK would be wonderful.

We do not co-sleep. He's actually been sleeping in his own crib since he was about one month old & we've never had any issues. He's been sleeping through the night for the most part since he was three months old. He's such a good baby, we are very lucky!

The Villas at Wilderness Lodge have great access to the Magic Kingdom, too. We lived our stay there with DD.
