I hope that some of you won't mind sharing which 'princess' character meal you liked the best in terms of interaction, and which you liked the best in terms of food quality, and which meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner) you enjoyed the most.

And if you could clarify which characters are at each, that would be very helpful for a newbie who is trying very hard to soak up all of this Disney madness, hehe.

We've never done CRT but on our last trip which was our DD's 1st trip we had breakfast at the Norway Pavillion @Epcot. The food was decent and several Pricesses were there. Belle, Jasmin, Snow White, Mary Poppins, and Mulan.

We chose this one over CRT because on the DDP only one credit was required as opposed to 2 credits for CRT so we felt we were getting more "bang for the buck"

PSB at Akershus for breakfast was very tasty, only counts as 1 credit and has loads of princesses and great interaction.Plus you get a souvenier photo with Belle. At breakfast we saw...Belle as greeter, Jasmine,Mulan,Aurora, and SNow White.

We did dinner at 1900 Park Fare on our trip a couple weeks ago with Cinderella and really did not enjoy it. The only thing that seemed to be good was the prime rib. I don't eat it and the rest of the choices (there were many) were not very good. I've heard great things about Akershus (sp?) though. I would think this meal would be the best to see the princesses as they are all there at once. Good luck with your planning!

We have eaten CRT breakfast 4 times and PSB breakfast once. For us, CRT can not be beat! Comparing the food, PSB seemed to have more variety. DH says the french stuffed toast at the castle is worth the trip though! Princess interaction was about the same- we've always had good interaction at CRT. Experience and atmosphere- while PSB is nice, the atmosphere of eating in THE castle with THE princesses is priceless. The first thing dd said when we told her we were planning a family vacation to WDW in Nov. was "Can we eat in the castle?" It is one of the biggest highlights of her trips. My whole family is going in Nov- along with my nieces who are 12 and 15. Both said they wanted to eat in the castle too- they've done it before as well. DD has never mentioned or asked about eating at PSB since we ate there the first time. Characters vary at both- depending on if a certain princess is under the weather. CRT- Cinderella is in the lobby for pictures. Upstairs, the regulars are Snow White, Aurora, Belle (blue dress), and Jasmine or the Fairy Godmother. It is usually 4 princesses upstairs. PSB- Ariel or Belle (gold dress) in lobby- depending on which meal you eat, I think Belle is at breakfast but can't remember for sure. Other princesses inside usually include Snow White, Mulan, Belle (if she isn't in the lobby- she rotates inside in her blue dress), and Jasmine.
Both are wonderful! But for my family (and dd), the magic of eating in the castle is just unbeatable!

We've done Norway twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner. We did the dinner our first trip and thought the interaction was great, but we weren't crazy about the food. So, our next trip, we did the breakfast. Great food, great interaction, a great hit with my girls! We also did CRT for lunch this past trip. The character interaction was not great...very rushed. But we did think the food was good and you can't beat the atmosphere of the castle. However, we probably would not do this again because we don't think the cost is justified considering the rushed interaction with the princesses. Plus, we were able to see the same princesses at Norway.

We have done both and I will ditto the comment of the previous poster, CRT is magical, we had just come out of BBB and when they called princess J.. I had tears in my eyes. The castle is beatiful, our photopass photo we got with the meal is pricless...all that being said DD's favorite thing from this trip was Test Track, go figure. But I say try it one, it was very memorable.

Off course, Cinderella's Royal Table is the first choice. Nothing beats eating in the castle and is worth to try at least once, for it is very pricey. The food is not the best and as someone else said the interaction is rushed. But you're paying for the atmosphere. Be sure to make reservations as soon as possible!

I also would recommend 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Cinderella, Prince Charming, and even the Stepmother/Stepsisters are there, plus the food was delicious and the restaurant, being in the beautiful Grand Floridian, is very charming.

We ate at the restaurant in Norway for breakfast a few years ago but were not really impressed. The food wasn't so great and not all the princesses were there (I think Aurora, Mary Poppins, Alice, and Pocahontas were the characters present, but maybe it has changed since then.)

Whatever you pick, I am sure your little girl will just love spending time with the princesses. princess: Have a magical trip!

I personally liked the Princess breakfast at Norway in Epcot better than Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast in the castle.

At CRT they bring a small basket of pastry/rolls and then the pre-plated meals. At the meal in Norway there is a small buffet line with fresh fruit, muffins, cinnamon rolls and a few other things as well as the skillet they bring to the table with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc.

I felt like the Princesses were rushed a little more in the castle. I'm glad we had the opportunity to do it once but I don't feel the need to return. However, we do have a great picture of my daughter climbing those spiral stairs after meeting Cinderella and holding up the hem of her princess dress daintily while wearing pink sneakers :)

Both meals include the picture package.

CRT - Cinderella, Belle (blue dress), Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora
PSB - Belle (gold dress), Aurora, Jasmine, Mulan, Snow White

We have done the Norway Princess Breakfast twice and both times it was incredible, the food and the characters are top notch, click on my Jan reviews for pics

We just did the 1900 PF dinner and man the food was horrible! Great characters but the food was just soooo bad....reviews are in the Jan link too

We've done Akershus for breakfast twice and CRT for breakfast once. Both were wonderful for meeting lots of princesses. Akershus is less expensive than CRT - but it still very royal in atmosphere. It's a good alternative to the castle. I felt a little rushed at CRT - Akershus was a little more relaxed pace in the dining room. Other than that - enjoyed the food at both places and the princesses were charming at both.

Our favorite for character interaction was Akershus and CRT for food quality.
