Yes, I playfully pointed to the fact that Barack Obama would certainly not repeat the most recent history of the last president - who I believe like you - will go down as the worse president - yes, worse than President Carter........
And while McCain may not be a carbon copy of Bush - he has indicated that he wants to continue some of the same Bush policies (history repeating itself) - which I cannot support.

Both pro-business Republicans and for economic reformers. Hoover was for national prohibition, Palin, as VP, supports a constitutonal amendment to ban same sex marriage, both attempts to legislate morality.
Inflation and unemployment were in the double digits, and let's not forget those gas lines! Regan brought us the longest peace time growth ever, not to mention what he did to end the cold war. Carter was a nice man, but a bad president.
