Hi! We are DVC and staying at Poly for the first time in April. We have a standard view studio. I've checked out a website with a map and it looks like Tokelau is closest to Lava pool and hotel lobby. We have two kids and we will mostly be at MK and Epcot.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

Tokelau is closet, but the 3 DVC long houses are all near each other., not a big difference in distance. You can walk to TT to get Epcot monorail and avoid GCH and resort monorail. Only concern is if construction of quiet pool will be complete...

There's such a minimal amount of distance between all three longhouses that none of them is a bad choice. With Tokelau, it's slightly more centrally located (depending on where you get placed in the building), but quiet pool construction would be a concern of mine during April. Pago Pago is very closely located next to the TTC (especially if you're on the end closest to it), which is nice for your Epcot days and to give you a few extra-close options for getting to the MK. Downside: Your view might be out onto the parking lot (but you can see the monorail pass by, which is a bonus). And Moorea is also very nice, but only half of the building is standard view, so your odds of securing a room here are lesser than the other two buildings.

Tokelau is my favorite longhouse! I was so sad to see it was turned into a DVC but I am hopeful that the price will be competitive with a regular room when we go again in 2018.

Concern because of the noise and/or the view?

The issue with Tokelau and the pool construction is the unknown. I would guess that if the construction is not completed it would be winding down. With One side of Tokelau facing that area, it would be the only building in the "know" construction area. The other two building would be further away from the potential distraction. The construction is limited to day time so if your kids are past napping age, it may not concern you.

A great resource (as you probably are already aware) on all things poly is www.tikimanpages.com as well as his facebook page.
