Thanks

I don't think the traveling solo aspect would be any different at one over the other. They both have the set-up of individual buildings and then a central area for the food court/shopping. I'd go with whichever theme "calls" you. In my case, it's the CBR.

Hi
Try the swan or dolphin or budget permitting the bwi or y and bc...i just think that for a single person that location would be the best...so much to see and do...just walking around is a pleasure over there...Have fun!!:D

What kind of budget do you have? If you can swing it, IMHO the BWI has the most beautiful decorations of all, followed closely by the AKL. Both would be great for a single traveler.

As far as theme and atmosphere that time of year, I think the WL is the absolute best. They really do a great job with decorating, and the "Lodge" theme in the winter really feels like you are a million miles from anywhere. A great place to relax if you are traveling solo too.

I used to call POR my "solo resort of choice" before we joined DVC. I went there 3 years in a row, arriving Jan 3,2, then 1. Never stayed at CBR. Now that we belong to DVC, I love the studios in the Epcot area. You really save so much money on food-you know WDW often serves portions too large for one person and charges so much! I always ate breakfast in my room last year, and often used the microwave to reheat non-perishable leftovers (with perishables from WS, my room was so close that once or twice I ran the leftovers back to the refrigerator in my room, then returned to WS). I'd recommend looking in to renting points, but otherwise of the 2 resorts you named, I'd chose POR.
