When a customer comes in and says, "I want to change my hair drastically, but don't cut it." ?????? I get this at least 5-8 times per week.

I can soooo relate. In our grooming shop it's:
Me: And how would you like him groomed?

Customer: Oh, you know, just a puppy cut, short, but not TOO short, just make him cute.

Not really a phrase.... but when the phone rings in the middle of the night. That is never a good sign (unless you are expecting a call in the middle of the night b/c you told someone to call you at 3 am)

And also the "CGhaeeeeeehhhh" any of my cats make before they throw up.

"Before you get mad..."; I never hear a word after that. It always means something is ruined and I'm going to be flaming mad!!

And, of course, "Mommy, my tummy feels funny" because what comes out of the mouth next isn't words.
