I am planning for our trip in September for me, my dh, dd (6), and ds (8) and would like to find out which of the 4 WDW parks require 2 days to visit.

Thanks

Magic Kingdom and Epcot, surely. I think it is possible to stretch D-MGM into two full days, but it isn't strictly necessary IMHO.

Well I have not yet been to Disney but will be going in September as well and I agree I think the two parks you might want to do again are Epcot and Magic Kingdom
because Epcot is really big and will take at least two trips to manage it all and Magic Kingdom because animal kingdom closes a bit eary because of the animals and Magic Kingdom looks like fun! I am going to ALL the parks but if I had to choose two they would be magic kingdom and Epcot. I hope this helped!

Given teh age of your children, I would say Magic Kingdom first and if it is not a short trip then that would be followed by Epcot.

If there are time problems, we usually spend 2 days at MK (first and last days of vacation), 1 full day at EPCOT, and start a day at AK, end in EPCOT. 4th day, start at MGM and finish where we feel like going.

We will be there 6 days staying at ASMu and can take advantage of the EMH in the evenings. Would you recommend us getting the park hoppers or do you really think it is necessary since we'll have 6 days to do the parks? I do want to spend a some quiet time at the pools in the resport also to give us a little rest time.

thanks

We have friends in Disney this week. It's their first trip and they asked us the same question. Our answer was pretty much the same as above - MK 2 days, Epcot, then MGM. AK only 1, maybe not even a full day.

The main point we tried to stress was that they should get Park Hoppers in order to make the most of their time there. They decided no on the Park Hoppers. The end of their second day there they called to say they wished they had Park Hoppers. They need more time in Epcot and MGM, not a full day probably 1/2 day each, but their tickets are only good in one park each day.

If you can afford Park Hoppers, thats the way to go.

They arrived Friday night, leave next Friday night, so time there is about the same as your trip.
