Rate our plan!
We are getting married in October and delaying our honeymoon until we both have some vacation time in December the week before Christmas.
We are planning 6 days/nights, which is the longest trip we have ever taken, staying at POP. Our budget isn't huge.
We did get to go for a 2 day trip last December to see everything Star Wars, which we both loved and are eager to try again.
Here is our tentative plan:
Friday 12.18: Drive down (~10 hrs), arrive mid-late evening, find dinner somewhere and check into Pop.
Sat 12.19: AK
Sun 12.20: HS
Mon 12.21: morning/day plans with local family and friends, later afternoon/evening at Epcot
Tues 12.22: MK
Weds 12.23: HS again for a slower day (revisit GE)
Thurs 12.24: Epcot
Friday 12.25: Drive home
Some of the evenings when the parks close earlier we would likely end up at DS or try to do some resort dining rezzies.
What would you do, in our shoes? Would you reassign any parks to other days? We're trying to avoid certain parks on the most peak days, although I know some of that can't be helped at that time of year.
Have any recommendations of especially romantic things we might try to fit in that wouldn't totally blow the budget?
TIA!
