Which park should I use as a "hub" for the busses when staying at CSR (when travelling to another resort)? AK? MGM?
When we stayed at POR/FQ we always used DD.

Depends on time of day.
During the day, MGM is good for many resorts, Ak is just as good, but somtimes some AK buses also go to Blizzard Beach, so it may take longer.
MK is good for Monorail Resorts (catch a monorail to your destinaion resort). Use this during day or evening for monorail resorts, a ride on the Monorail is always plesant. If you want to go to WL, you can also catch a launch at MK.
From CSR, EC should also work.
Evening DtD is very good as more buses go there in the evening than during the day (I suppose because of increased PI traffic).
Sometimes the fastest way for "resort to resort" is to just catch the first parks or DtD bus that comes to your bus stop (not a water parks bus) and transfer there. That is another thing we've done.
Depends on which resort and time of day you want to go to, as to which hub is "best or easiest".
