Hi Everyone,
Firstly,Happy Christmas!hope it will be a great one for all...but onto business,i need help AGAIN!I am having the old 'which tickets to buy'problem again.I am travelling in August 2013,with my husband,9yr old Daughter and 15 yr old Son.I would like to go to Epcot and Animal Kingdom,Universal(1 or 2 days),definately Discovery Cove,Seaworld,a couple of water parks and Busch Gardens,so what does everyone think would be the best(and cheapest tickets?I am not bothered about park hopping so don't know if this makes a difference, but i am getting really confused again...thanks in advance for any help.

Not sure how many days at disney you want? if more than 4-5 then the 14Disney ultimate pass will probably be more economical than buying a 5 day pass, the ultimate allows hopping and access to disney watermarks, discovery cove ultimate package includes 14 days at sea world, Busch gardens and aquatica ( also worth paying ahead for parking deal if you will be going to all those parks also allows you to pop in for few hours in an evening without extra parking charges ), I usually get a 14 day universal ticket as there doesn't seem to be much difference in cost between that and a 2 day pass but I haven't checked 2013 prices

You will not be able to get any deals with that park combo.
Your best bet will be to get a Discovery Cove ultimate ticket, which gives you Busch Gardens and Sea World too. Approx £200/each.
If you plan to do more than 2 days at Disney, you might as well get a 14 day pass - £240/adult, £220/child
Then Universal - may as well get 2 park 14 day passes for £96/adult, £87 child.

To summarise, with that combo of parks,it's gonna be expensive - over £2000...

Wow that is more expensive than i thought,a bit too much.I would like to go to Epcot and Magic Kingdom,so don,t know if it would be worth paying on the gate?I find the combinations of tickets really confusing,i thought around £1000-£1500 in total for the tickets, just out of interest what tickets do you get?thanks for the help..

You could buy a two day pass on the gate, and just do Magic Kingdom and Epcot - that would cost you approx. £125 per adult or115/child so £485 total.

If you can do both in one day - doubtful - you could do it for £85/adult or £75/child so £340 total.

That would save you a bit.
How long are you going for?
I would do EITHER the Disney parks (4 of them + 2 water parks for £240/person for 14 days) or Discovery Cove, Busch, Universal etc.

I had the same quandary ,check out the firm "undercover tourist" I'm getting a 5 day Disney tkt ,3 day universal and a 14day sea world/aquatica tkt for the 4 of us 4 roughly £1200 -think they've went up slightly since I bought them mind you - but still quite a saving on having to buy the 14 day Disney tkts etc

We are doing a 7 day MYW Disney ticket for ¬230, 3 day Universal Base ticket for ¬100 and 1 day Seaworld ticket for ¬60 so it amounts to ¬390 per person. These prices are through Undercover Tourist for WDW and Seaworld and direct from Universal for their tickets. I think thats a good price after lots of shopping around.

Thank you, that sounds a more realistic price so i will have to be a little more ruthless in decision making!I like the sound of the MYW tickets, and used Undercover Tourist the last time we went,i am getting excited already...
