Which park on which day?

I've been faced with some last minute schedule details. I am leaving this Saturday and was desperately hoping WDW would increase the MK hours for next week. Oh well!

My question is which park (MGM & MK) to do on Thurs. and Fri. Thurs. is EE day at MK but Fri. is Gay Day at MGM. I am not concerned about the Gay Day event except for it's impact on crowds. Our current touring plan is:

Sat. 5/31 - arrive at WL spend the afternoon at the pool. Chef Mickey's for dinner.

Sun, 6/1 - EE at MK until crowds get too large. Back to hotel for break and a swim. MGM late afternoon & Fantasmic dinner package (BD at 6:10 pm).

Mon. 6/2 - AK EE. Leave when crowds too large, afternoon open. Evening MK for Spectro and FITS (if I can brave the crowds)

Tues. 6/3 Sleep late, Epcot. E-ride at MK

Wed, 6/4 Seaworld

Thurs & Fri MGM and MK based on your suggestions

Fri night - Illuminations pontoon cruise

Any improvements or suggestions on this entire schedule are welcome.

Given the parameters of your post, I would suggest doing EMH at MK on Thursday, and MGM on Friday.

I agree - do MK EE then head to AK in the early afternoon to catch Mickey's Jammin' Parade!

Do MGM Friday.

Curious - what do you plan to do prior to your Illuminations cruise? I am planning on one next trip, and would like to know if strolling the Boardwalk is the best idea!

Hi! We are leaving tomorrow and here is my itinerary:

Fri, 5/30: Arrive at Cont; head to MGM around 3:00.

Sat, 5/31: AK - stay most of day. Go to MK around 7:00 for Spectro/FW. We will probably stake out a spot then get some kind of counter food and eat at curb (what we do for our "spot").

Sun, 6/1: EE at MK; stay til too crowded; Epcot in evening

Mon, 6/2: Seaworld

Tues, 6/3: Epcot; back to hotel for break and then Epcot in p.m. for Illuminations

Wed, 6/4: TL; long break in p.m.; head to MGM around 7 to see Fantasmic (doing Fantasmic on Spectro night - hoping for lighter crowds).

Thurs 6/5: EE at MK; not sure about evening

Fri, 6/6: open right now. We'll have to see what we missed at Epcot/Mgm. E-ride night at MK.

I am concerned about MGM on Friday because of Gay Days. I did post on these boards about it, and everyone said Sat. is really the only day to worry about (as far as crowds).

I am upset about not being able to to to MK in evening, but making the best of it.

We have PS at the Cape May Cafe. Will be strolling the boardwalk either before dinner or after the cruise.
