If it has to be a park then I'd agree Epcot or MGM, but if you are into the whole virtual reality/video game scene then DisneyQuest comes to mind as a great rain-day alternative.
I agree with Epcot. DD and I were there earlier this month. It rained all day. It was easy to duck inside a store or exhibit to get out of the weather.
DH and I love world showcase....especially the live entertainment. If it rains, there's no entertainment. At MGM, I think almost all of the shows still go on when it rains, and I think the same is true for the rides.
i think epcot or mgm are good choices but...we did get caught one trip in ak when all of a sudden the sky opened up and it poured. we were just getting off the safari ride late in the afternoon and i must say it really added to the feeling of being in a jungle or rain forest the timing was perfect...almost like wdw planned it we had inexpensive raincapes in our napsack that we pulled out and put on (one little boy around 8 looked up at me and said "you don't happen to have an extra in there do you" LOL) . it rained so hard we stayed fairly dry but our feet were SOAKED by the time we got to the bus stop
Hi there, Mickey Mouse Kid! Welcome to the DIS, I'm so glad you found us. Enjoy planning your trip here, I think planning is a large part of the fun of visiting WDW
