Hi there,
We are taking the whole family to disney for the fourth of July!! I can't wait!! Does anyone know which park has the best fire works show? It looks like MGM has a special show? Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks

Cheryl

I can't answer you bc our first trip is the week of the fourth as well, but if you do a search you'll find several other threads on this topic (including one I posted myself :)). I think the threads are in the THEME PARKS forum. HTH :goodvibes:

We went for the fourth of July last year and chose to go to Epcot which turned out to be a great choice. From what I heard, MK was terribly crowded last year and the fireworks were cut short. Epcot ran Illuminations which was followed up by a special 4th of July presentation. There were fireworks above the American pavillion. Afterwards, they played patriotic music as we all filed out and projected patriotic images onto Spaceship Earth. It was amazing. BTW, it was very crowded, but Epcot is so big that everyone was able to spread out nicely. The only negative about Epcot was the buses. We stayed at POFQ and the line for the bus was the worst I'd ever seen. Other lines were not as bad. We took the monorail to the TTC and took a bus from there. It was exhausting with a bunch of tired kids so late at night, but it was well worth it. Oh, and if you are planning on touring a park during the day, go to AKL. It was empty because they have no fireworks. We had a great day!
