If you had to do one of these parks in just one day, which would you choose?

(We'll have kids ages 4 mos. to 12 years for our trip, btw.)

Magic Kingdom
Epcot
MGM
Animal Kingdom

Or, to rephrase if you like it better...which of those parks need at least 2 days in your opinion?

i would say Animal kingdom definately the day always seems to go fast there but we always seem to have done everything :sunny:

I'd say Magic Kingdom if you are only doing one day...also if time permits I'd do MK 2 days out of say a weeks vacation. :wizard:

It sounds like you have 7 days at WDW, so 2 days at most parks and 1 day and the other? I'd go for just one MGM day. We usually do MGM in about a half day, and then can't stand it anymore. You should be able to get in all the shows you want and ToT/RnR several times if you make judicious use of fastpass.

Hi, 5Star! You and I are neighbors (It's a Small World After All!) I think the way you phrased it people are going to tell you either which park they feel is the easiest to finish in a day or which park they would go to if they had ONLY one day.

Magic Kingdom and Epcot both require at least two days, especially with a group your size.

You could probably get to most of what you want to do in the other parks in a day.

Do you have the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World? If you don't you should get it!

Have a great trip!

MK - hands down!! :thumbsup2 Rides for each of you kids ages- treats and shops! Fun food! Best fireworks!

MK hands down!!! I could never go to Orlando without stopping there. To me it is the most magical and there is the most to do. I think it will work well for the ages of your kids. :cool1:

Magic Kingdom for sure! :cheer2:

If I only had one day I would spend it there. We also seem to do a second day at MK when we are there for a week!

It is after all the most Magical Place on Earth!

Ok, if you are doing 2 days at most parks but can only do 1 day for one....no doubt...Animal Kingdom is a one day park. MGM would be better as a 1 and a half day park....not sure if you would need 2 full days but definitely need more than 1 to see and do all at MGM. Same with Epcot. Magic Kingdom...we usually try to have three days for MK since for the kids, MK is what Disney is all about.

You seem to be asking two questions here, so I'll answer both of them the best I can.

If I only had one day to spend at Walt Disney World, and had children with me, I would spend the day at the Magic Kingdom.

Which park takes two days to cover well? That's a no-brainer too. Epcot.

Enjoy.

MK is the definite choice for me. Ak is also great but smaller
Take care

I'd spend two days at Epcot and MK, a day at AK, a day and a half at MGM, and a half of the 2nd MDM day at DTD - the shops are attractions in themselves there. :goodvibes

If we only had one day ,then it would have to be MK - to us WDW is MK- don't get me wrong we love the other parks ( we'll put up with AK!) but I think there is enough of a mix at MK to keep all of our party entertained for a day.
HTH SD :firefight

If you are going to do only one day at WDW then I would pick to go to the MK hands down!! If you are staying and enjoying all the parks and have multiple days to go to them all then I would choose MGM or AK for just one day. We always alot ourselves 2 days at MK. Too too much to cover in just one day but on the other hand it is the heart  of Disney. I love all of the other parks but if I had to choose only one park to go to for the rest of my life, I would choose MK.
