Which park 10/2 & 10/3?

I will be spending 5 1/2 days at the parks. DH will be with me 2 1/2 of these days. We are first time DL guests. My question for the DL vets is which park on which days. We are staying at the GC. Friday 10/2 is EMH at DCA, DLP closes early as it is the Halloween party. Saturday is EMH at DP, but gay days on that day,thus increasing crowds. Our experience at WDW is EMH are great and would like to to use this benefit. We have park hopper tickets and have read how easy it is to park hop at DLR as opposed to WDW. Does this plan seem the best, or should we focus primarily on DP on Friday and DCA on Saturday? We do have a fantasmic dinner package on Saturday.

Definitely take advantage of the EMH in each park. Park hoping is very easy. You can stay in DCA on Fri, or begin there, hop over to DL for a bit, and then back to DCA before the Halloween Party starts in DL. On Saturday, I would start at DL, and head over to DCA when it begins to feel too crowded. The Gay Days events take place in DL on Saturday and DCA on Sunday.

This will be our 4th consecutive year visiting during Gay Days and staying at GCH, a few bits of advice:

• Take advantage of EMH
• Do not use the GCH entrance to DCA for EMH or park opening
• Expect to park hop several times each day
• Gay Days "Big Red Boat" event (guests wearing red fill the Mark Twain, 11AM Saturday) is quite a sight
• Get WOC fast passes on Friday (if not attending the Halloween party)
• Venues serving alcohol will be busy

...We do have a fantasmic dinner package on Saturday.

If the early show, after F! stay and watch the fireworks. Then go see the second Paint the Night parade.
