Which one? Pros? Cons?

Hi all,
We are debating on which resort to stay at this Sept. so I'm putting it to you all in a poll. We have stayed at Pop only for 1 night and didn't get to use anything like the food cort, pools etc. We have never stayed at either Port Orleans. Price is a bit of a concideration but we can afford either and we don't really care about bussing to the parks, we have done that practically every trip so it's not as nice as the monorail or boat but we can't afford any of those resorts at least not this year. At least 1/2 to 1 day will be spent this trip on mini golf water mice and the resort pools and ammenities. I think that is about it, oh it is just me and my best firend from high school going, no kids or elderly parents just two 27yo's

If you can afford the POR, I would absolutely stay there. It is a much nicer resort. Especially if you are planning to spend some time out of the parks. You have some boats there, fishing, and other kinds of activities you dont have at the All Star's. You also have more options on dining other than a food court, and you are close to downtown Disney. POR is one of the nicer resorts on Disney property. If you have that chance to stay there, do it!

I voted for Riverside because:

POFQ vs. POR-) The pool at French Quarter is a big dragon, very cool but also very child-oriented. Riverside is a bit more laid back.

Pop vs. POR-) We love taking the boat to Downtown Disney. Very relaxing. Also - the Pop is very child oriented - my kids LOVE it!

POFQ is just very quaint. It is smaller than other Mod resorts, maybe that is why so many people love it. Short walks to the food court, pool and the bus stop. And it near to POR.

I picked POR. I loved it...nice and relaxing! POFQ was pretty, too. Only saw it at night, though.

We are staying at Pop in December, but if I had the money, we would be at a moderate. Pop is nice when you have kids with, but if I was going with a girlfriend and wanted to relax...I would probably hit one of the mods on your list!
