DVC Chit Chat Thread

Our first BRV stay, we definitely got a reject room. We had the last room on the first floor on the non-lake side.

Our view.

Our faucet was too big for the sink.

There also seemed to be a missing side panel or something on the small murphy bed. See the left side here...

We also came back to our room one afternoon and it had been left propped open with no staff in sight. Nothing was disturbed but it was still not great to see.

Even with all that, we still went home and immediately bought a BRV contract.

BRV is great, though you should send feedback about the issues. Especially the door left open!

We really like the theming and redone rooms. Haven't had issues booking at 7 months so we use our other points, otherwise I would want to own as well

Ok, so now I have to know— how many times did you ride it over how many days? What is the line like these days? Do you have any tips for good/bad times?
Hahaha we rode it three times over 2 days. We rope dropped MK and got through the line and ride in 30 minutes (despite a 60 minute posted time). Once around 11am was 90 minutes. Then we rode again at night which was 90 minutes again.

Fortunately other big rides she loved like Everest were a walk on first thing in the morning, and Guardians we rope dropped and got through in a half hour as well!

We immediately called about the door being left open and a lead called us back to apologize and say they would speak to the staff about it.

I don't think this needs it's own thread so I'm just going to ask here.

If we ever decided to take an early flight to Florida, could we actually book a room for the night before, that when we when arrive, we could go straight to our room even if it's something like 9am? I know some would see this as a "waste" of points. But I'm just curious if that's even something they allow.

After watching that video, now having second thoughts on wanting the walking path from Wilderness Lodge to ever reopen.

Still would love to be able to walk over there but not really wanting all of that Fort foot traffic coming over the other way. That Lake Shore resort area population is about to balloon!

I agree with that. Though I'm not sure how many people would really spend the time going all the way to WL from there. Except maybe at Christmastime to see the lobby.

Allowed for sure! Done it twice. I just have MS note it. Have had no issues and sure nice walking right to the room that morning.

I think the foot traffic in either direction will be minimal. It might be close in real distance, but it will "feel" far for most people.

I also expect the Blue Flag route to add LSL as a stop in its tour of Bay Lake, and that will move many more people between the various resorts.
