So, we have been all over the map on where were are planning to stay, and I realized that we completely skipped the moderate options and now I am finding them more appealing. Could anyone tell me which one might be best with 2 and 4 year olds (we will have two of each between my DB's family and mine). I was most interested in CBR or POFQ, but I am not against the other two either.

Also, can you tell me what transportation is like at these? And how big are the rooms/beds? Do the double beds seem terribly small at the end of the day? Any info is greatly appreciated! :earsboy:

We like CSR. No shared transportation, only 4 internal stops. Best pool of all the mods and a great playground for the kids. Check out my website below

CSR is nice, but my favorite mod is Dixie Landings, opps I mean PORS.

We like AB area around building 14, it isn't too long of a walk. The busses are more crowded then deluxe busses moslty, but it is really nice. We were there in May 2005 and it was so quiet and relaxing. The pool is very nice and they have a great food court and playground. It is fun for kids and romantic and relaxing for adults. Good gift shop there too.

We just love PORS. We are DVC members and mostly stay in Deluxe now, but we weren't disapointed at all when we went back to PORS. :teeth:

Not sure what size the beds were, but they seemed bigger then the ones in the studios at DVC. They were very comfotable beds and the resort has been refurbished. :cheer2:

We love POFQ - smallest of all the moderates... so it's not a long walk to anywhere... the kiddie pool and the serpent slide is perfect for the little ones my son just turned 5 when we were there last.

The boat to DTD is nice too... for a variety of restaurants and a chance to get away from the cafeteria.... :flower:

Good luck making your decision!!

The moderate resort we stayed in was the only one we have ever been disappointed by. We didnt feel it was worth the extra expense over the values.

I would either stay at the ASMovies, in the wing most appealling to your kids or upgrade to the WL or AKL.

I guess this depends on how much time is spent at the resort/pool area. My son LOVES the pool. He's basically a fish. The addition of the pool slide is worth it to me. We typically spend mornings in the parks, come back and enjoy the pool, then evening at DTD or back to the parks.

If it's a long stay, we may do an entire "pool" day.

SO.... to me, it was well worth it. He had so much more fun than just splashing around in the regular pool. :earboy2:
